Indulgence Salon & Day Spa

I went to this salon a couple months ago and was scheduled with Jen. She was 15 minutes late even showing up for my appointment. I usually arrive early for appointments for the sake of common courtesy, and ended up waiting about half an hour total before I was helped. I was offered a glass of water, and after a few sips noticed how dirty the cup was. Yuck! There was leftover lipstick all over the rim. I finally was seated for my cut and haircolor, and didn't feel like my stylist heard anything I said about how I wanted my hair. She kept telling me what she wanted to see. I figured she was the professional so I would trust her. She put her cape around my neck and it was wet, possibly from the last person who used it, and smelled musty or moldy. I was very uncomfortable, but was afraid to say anything. My stylist applied my color and let me sit for what seemed like an eternity while she cut someone elses hair. The bleach areas started to burn my scalp a little. Finally she washed the haircolor out of my hair (worst shampoo massage ever) and gave me a haircut. She cut it about 3 inches shorter than I had wanted and thinned it out so much that I felt like not much was left. At this point, I wanted to cry. My hair was a mess! My color was blotchy and very uneven, it had patches that didn't look like they were even colored, and others where the bleach had bled into the other color. The haircut, after further inspection at home, was completely uneven and not blended at all. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had, and for $115 dollars, the biggest waste of money. The salon wouldn't refund my money, but offered to "fix" my hair. I will never let them touch me again. I went to Sally's and bought a home dye to cover my mess, and have been growing my hair out ever since. Jen was loud and pushy, and seemed to be more interested in talking to the other stylist than paying attention to her clients who were paying to be pampered for the afternoon. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. Based on my experience, I don't think it is worthy of even one star. more

I went to this Salon in May and it was just the place I was looking for! I heard about Indulgence from a friend who goes there and see's Samantha! I was very lucky and they were able to get me in with only about a week wait! The salon is BEAUTIFUL and the people are friendly and very helpful! They offered me a wonderful tropical drink and had some cookies there!! I have medium length, curly hair and I was looking for something new. That's what I got! Samantha did a wonderful job! She gave me this wonderful red and blonde color and a fun cut that works if I wear it straight or curly(which never happens) and she was also very sweet and actually listened to what I was talking about. I have told all of my friends about this place! I have been back sense then and I still love everyone there! more

The salon was nice as was Sam who cut and colored my hair. The cut was fine, I have long hair and she did the typical long cut with some layers. I was very unhappy with the color on the other hand. Huge sections of my hair were missed, leaving dark roots in my blond hair inches long (where my hair is parted not a single strand was colored leaving my hair looking the same as before I went in). She uses a unique highlighting technique that left my hair looking uncolored and each section of my hair is a different color depending on where it is parted. I asked for a natural look, but the colors are not homogeneous or blended. Sadly, I will not be returning to Sam to have my hair done again. more

I became a client of Jenny's, the owner of Indulgence Day Spa & Salon over a year ago. I was impressed from the beginning because instead of her asking me how I wanted my hair cut she consulted with me on my complexion and face shape and recommended a style and color that I loved! All of her staff is very Knowledgeable and courteous. Plus there is always a wonderful treat waiting for you there from the personal chef! more

Kristen gave me the best massage. I think I had pulled my sciatic nerve and my left leg was bothering me alot! Kristen concentrated on my glutes and I could not believe how much better I felt. I am now back in my high heels which I love so much and walking gracefully again! My right foot was burned when I was a baby and Sam's pedicures make my feet look oh so pretty. It has been almost two weeks and my finger and toe nails are gorgeous. Along with the facial, I left there literally glowing. Oh and, if you have the opportunity, spend the day like I did and have lunch. The chef made me an absolutely incredible lunch, I cannot compliment her enough. I had the best massage of my life. Brandi Is awesome, she really knows how to read a client!! She understood my body and it's needs. Her pressure was not too deep but perfect. I hate too little of pressure and too much leaves me sore and uncomfortable. She has the intuition to give you the perfect pressure for your body. She is amazing and I have found my new massage therapist. try her out and you will neve go anywhere else!!!! Pros: Thumbs up best massage ever more

What a beautiful Spa, The Staff is very nice. I had my hair done by the owner and it was the best cut and color I ever recieved in my life. Then I recieved a massage and a facial, also the best I ever had in my life. I would recommend Indulgence to anyone. What a great place to enjoy a day of total pampering.
