Closed Down and Didn't Pay Customers Money Owed 5/7/2012

This store ended up being a complete rip-off to its customers. It advertised that it was going out of business. I came in to collect my commission check for my consigned goods on a weekend that it was advertising that it was going out of business. The owner stated that the company was actually staying in business (even though there were numerous signs outside stating that it was going out of business and that everything was 75% off). The owner stated that she wasn't going to issue checks until the end of the month. I trusted the owner at her word and agreed to pick up the check at the end of the month. Sure enough, at the end of the month, the store was closed, completely empty, and the owner skipped out on paying its customers, including me. This company committed theft against me and probably dozens and dozens of other customers. The company owed me money for two of my dresses that it sold. The owner should be prosecuted. Bad Customer Service! 4/1/2010

Wow, I wanted to help a local business, but their customer service compared to their competitor Plato's Closet falls far short. Both times I have left clothes there, I was promised a phone call that never came. Today, I went to find out about the clothes I left, and the owner was sitting out in the sun, while my clothes were untouched on the counter. No apologies given. Again I was promised a call that never came, ""I'll get it done today"". At Plato's Closet, you have a check within 20 minutes. Cons: Wait Time more

I love coming here , I can't come through town without stopping. Plus the owner is the sweetest person in the world! I end up staying for at least a half hour longer just to chit chat which leads to more shopping for cheap deals! I love this place! Pros: always the best ! more
