I am a type of person who in the previous never made any observations as an expression of opinion but after dining at india house, they totally changed me. So, as a honor to their services and superb food i just wanted to say few words ........ keep up the superior work you guys are doing ......... God Bless and God Bless our America!!! Scott more

We're on a business trip to US and after reading Mr. Rahi's comments we tried this restaurant ""India House"" and found out exactly what Mr. Rahi wrote. Thanks to Mr. Rahi and many many thanks to the best crew of India House who made our trip to US beautiful. On our next trip to US we'll definitely visit Denver especially the India House. I think i have eaten at more than 100 Indian restaurants in CA, MA, NY, CO and most of the places i found were good at one thing and bad at others. Some time food was good but service was very poor, some time prices were so high and some time serive or prices were okay but food wasn't that good. Last time i tried at India House and i found the real taste of food (the way people cook in India), quality of service, ambience and reasonable price of food. Which i think every restaurant should provide to their customers but too bad that there are not many restaurants out there where customers can get most out of their money! Jesse more

Great Indian food in Downtown Denver !!! 6/5/2005

I work in Downtown and tried Lunch buffet and it was great. The price is very reasonble. The place is very nice and neat. the The service was very friendly too. And the food is to die for !!! The Quail Trandori was heavenly. And try the Lamb too. Pros: Good Food,, Friendly service Cons: May be crowded, sometimes w/c is a + more

overall satisfying experience 6/4/2005

The best of the Indian restaurants I've been in Denver metro. Food is good, though I've found the buffet menu to be quite repetitive, but does have an authentic taste to it. Mango Lassi is fantastic. Excellent service and friendly atmosphere. All in all, my thumbs up. more

Superb Indian Food 6/3/2005

We have enjoyed Indian food for many years, and have dined in Indian restaurants all over the world. It is a privledge for us to have one of the best India cuisines we've ever experienced right here in lower downtown Denver. The menu choices are excellent, the servers are very helpful, and the dishes are expertly prepared. Pros: great food, excellent service, reasonably priced more

Food comparable to India 6/1/2005

I just spent 10 days in New Delhi for a business trip and the food at India House is as good as what I ate in New Delhi. We're lucky to have such a fine restaurant here in Denver!!! more

Best in town! 6/1/2005

If you love Indian food, there's no better place in town. I've been going to this restaurant consistently for 18 years - when it was ""Tandoor"" and ""Delhi Darbar"" and the owner has been the same throughout. I've recommended this place to many, many people over the years and they all agree and have become huge fans. Keep it up, Ghugi! more

Downtown India House is our favorite !! 5/31/2005

The owner, Ghugi and staff are the best, most courteous. The place is elegant and the food is amazing. Anyone living in Denver that hasn't tried the India House is missing out on a local gem. Pros: Great food, Great atmosphere, Great owner Cons: Only one in the world more

Best in town! 5/31/2005

We've always loved Indian food and we've probably been to every single one in the Denver Metro Area and have no doubt that India House rules the roost. Its more than an Indian restaurant, its a LoDo hot spot. The decor is really classy and contemporary and the restaurant does not look like the regular Indian place with drapes, sculptures & Indian nick-nacks. The ambieance is that of a contemporary & cool dining destination that happens to serve Indian food. And finally, the food is great and the service is friendly too. We love the downtown dining experience and we cant think of a better downtown dining destination than India House. The valet parking is convenient and the staff is friendly too. Oh, and its kid friendly and the lunch buffet rules too! All in all, two enthusiastic thumbs up! more

Best For Downtown Vegetarian Food 5/28/2005

We've been going to India House for several years and have always found the food to be very tasty and healthy. All their staff are absolutely wonderful and professional - with Driss, Shirley-Anne and Katy being worthy of special mention for their excellent customer service. I recommend their vegetarian and non-vegetarian offerings highly and note that Gugi the owner is always very responsive to any suggestions for new dishes to be added to an already extensive menu. I've been to The India House over a dozen times for dinner and have yet to be disappointed. However, the lunch buffet is of poor quality and would not recommend. My husband loves hot food and they always prepare it to his level of satisfaction. We often order items not on the menu and they have no problem with special requests. The atmosphere is a bit stark downstairs but would recommend sitting up in the loft area as it is much more 'comfy'. India House is by far the best Indian cuisine that I've had in Denver. The food is always prepared just right and full of flavor. The chutneys served before the meal are always very fresh.
