Independence Mazda

If I could put negative stars, I would!! We h ave been researching cars and visiting dealerships for the past 2 months. Out of all the many dealerships we visited, this has got to be the worst!! We drove over an hour to get to Montgomery Mazda and already knew which car we wanted, we just wanted to test drive again (since it had been a while at a different Mazda location). The salesman had an ever odd demeanor and belittled us when asking questions and was basically pushing us out the door (even though it was an hour and half before closing!) The salesman offered us a card, we told him we were ready to talk numbers and he told us they weren't selling below sticker. When we offered a fair price including trade and mentioned that we had seen more competitive pricing from the other Mazda dealer in Charlotte he flew off the handle and told us to go to that dealership and "fight the fight." He then walked away without saying anything else. Clearly this dealership does not feel like it needs more

I have never been more disappointed in a dealership as I am with Montgomery Mazda. I recently moved here from AZ and bought a certified pre-owned car from a beloved Mazda dealership back home. From the one in AZ, my family has bought 3 cars and gave 10 years of loyal service so I was more then happy to purchase a new car 2 days before we left for NC. Upon arrival in Charlotte, I made an appointment for an oil change and to have some service done to my Certified pre-owned Mazda 3 that I had just purchased 4 DAYS PRIOR. Not only did Montgomery Mazda make me pay for the service that should have been covered by the certified pre-owned package, they also made me pay for my oil change (which was covered due to a service agreement package I purchased), and refused to fix another problem I was having due to it being "part of the normal wear and tear of the vehicle." I got a second opinion from a different mechanic who said the complete opposite, however Montgomery Mazda still refuses to do the more

I went to Montgomery Mazda about 6 years ago. The salesman was all Mr. Easygoing. When I settled on one of several nearly identical cars, he went to the sales manager and came back with the same baloney. "Oh I can't give it to you for the same as the others. They're auction cars and that is a trade in." "I wouldn't lie. I'm getting hurt too. This is a new sales manager not our regular one" "He doesn't like me" ON and ON and ON. I wouldn't believe them if they said " Hello". A terrible experience. more

I went to their place looking for a economical vehicle that got good gas mileage. The staff was very good. They were not overly aggressive. However, I didn't like the back and forth with the sales manager and salesman. more
