I checked in two of my former band members for the week to shoot a film. Accomodations were a bit meager, but what the heck ... it's an efficiency room, right?\r \r One of the guys smokes, one does not. So, to be considerate, the smoker goes outside when he lights up.\r \r Now get this:\r Security would not allow this guest, who is a paid-up customer, to stand outside and smoke, nor use his phone to talk to his wife. WHAT?\r \r Now, I don't knock an establishment for setting their own policies. But, this is not something you put in the small print. You should inform people of this up front and let them make a choice of whether they accept these terms or not.\r \r They same rules so you cannot cancel your stay ... you forfeit the WHOLE RENT for hte week, even if you leave after one day.\r \r EPIC FAIL! more

I stayed at this hotel about 4 years ago and I must say back then this hotel needed some help. The people that were staying there were causing a lot of trouble and the staff and managment could care less. I vowed never to return. However, I was recently in town and could not find another hotel to stay at and so I gave it a shot again. I found the hotel to be well maintained. They had gone through a renevation and has an all new staff and managment team. They have really turned this hotel around. They have great evening time security and go out of their way to make sure the guests are well taken care of. I will become a regular customer at this hotel. Their customer base is more buisness travelers. Thank you Kelly and team for a great experience. I'll see you next week. Pros: inexpensive, great staff, great aminities more
