I love the energy in this place! more

Worst Burger Ever 8/30/2010

I had heard so much about this place when they first come to town that I was anxious to try it. So when the lines finally died down a friend and I decided to check it out. more

Avoid this location. All of us got Diarrhia 11/22/2007

I normally love In-N-Out but this was not the usual experience. We had a group of 10 on Nov 21 at the Scottsdale location. More than half of us have come down with major stomach pains and diarrhia. One still in bed. Thanks for the Thanksgiving present In-N-Out. more

Great burgers 11/3/2006

Always fresh food, the fries are great, too. Allow extra time if you go thru drive-thru, lines are always long because it's a popular place! more

FRESH BURGERS 5/30/2004

Glendale (Bell & 81st) now has a IN/OUT. After I tried it, I won't go back to McD/s, Fudyuckers, or anywhere else for a burger. NEVER ONCE have I gotten a burger at IN/OUT that wasn't fresh and hot. Lettuce has never been brown, tomatoes and pickles always fresh, not limpy. The lack of grease on their burgers is also a plus!! Simple menu, excellent quality, great price...no wonder IN/OUT is so popular!!! Always long lines but lines move quickly because of simplicity of menu.. Pros: Non greasy burgers, cooked to order, great prices Cons: , crowded lines, small dining area more

Absolutely the best 1/21/2004

From Calif. To Las Vegas to Phoenix is the only place I would stop for a hamburger. It's always consistent. Food, service, and most of all the cleanliness. more

Customer Service 7/2/2003

I have never been to a fast food resturant that had better customer service. The staff there are friendly polite and will do anything to please the customer. It is by far the best fast food restuarant in the city. No place treats you better! Great work In-N-Out staff you all are awesome!! Michelle Pros: Great food, Always friendly, Very clean more

Simply the Best! 7/2/2003

C'mon, between the food, service, and how clean everything is, In-N-Out Burger is simply the best! You go into other fast food joints, and those places are filthy and you can't tell what the associates are doing behind the counters! At In-N-Out, you are always greeted with friendly smiles and a clean atmosphere, and on top of all that, the food is fresh and delicious! I don't know about you, but I'm for fresh food, and friendly serive, something you don't receive at the local Mickie D's! Pros: Food, Great service, Clean Cons: Crowded more

In-N-Out GARBAGE! 5/31/2003

OK! Let's all admit it, this place SUCKS! The food is crap! No variety what-so-ever! Pros: homemade fries Cons: no variety more

Dry as the AZ desert 5/20/2003

The burgers here are about as dry and tasteless as I have ever had. I won't even mention the wood chips they call fries. more

In N Out 3/6/2003

No variety, 1000 island sauce only with thin little patties. I like the big crunchy veggies though. The french fries taste like styrofoam and the milkshakes taste like powder made. Pros: Big Crunchy Veggies Cons: French Fries, Milkshakes, Variety more

Marginal at best 2/14/2003

In-N-Out is just a touch of home for all the Californians who have moved to Phoenix. Greatly overrated. Wendy's has a much better burger and a much wider selection. more

In N Out for Atkins fans 2/9/2003

Great burgers for an inexpensive price---go for the grilled onions. The fries are fresh (you watch them cut them in the drive thu). But best to eat them while they are plenty hot. Overall, one heck of a value...and if you are trying to go without carbs--the ""protein burger"" a burger wrapped in iceberg lettuce--is awesome!!!! Pros: Value, Great Atkins option Cons: Lines, Crowded more

Yummy! 2/8/2003

Food, Service, Prices are EXCELLETE!!! Service is fast and the employes are friendly. Pros: Great Food, Great Price, Great Service Cons: Crowded more

nothing to write home about 2/8/2003

It's o.k. but just o.k...would I go there again?No... it may be fast, clean, and friendly,,but too small,no elbow room between seating area, and seats hard on the bottom, that's probably why they call it the In-N-Out burger,,,they want you in and out as fast as possible and the heck with the digestive system. If you want to sit down and enjoy a hamburger, this isnt the place to go. Pros: clean, friendly, fast Cons: small, uncomfortable seats, uncomfortable seating more

Simply Stupendous 2/7/2003

The menu is short, almost abrupt and the service/decor is definitely 50's BUT they do make a wonderful, ""take me back to my youth"" hamburger. Always a great vibe at the In & Out, people are happy, at least while they are there. more

In N Out is definitely OUT 2/4/2003

I have only been to this place a few times, mostly because of the hype surrounding it. Not once have I gotten a hamburger that I could justify paying for. It is worse than McDonald's, in trying to find that little piece of meat underneath all the lettuce and tomato on the big bun. Never again. Real hamburgers don't have to be searched for. more

Overrated. 1/29/2003

Don't listen to all the hype. You pay high prices for a weak burger and soggy fries. I've had better burgers and fries at McDonalds. I'd stay away. It's only good for the first time if your into the hype. After that you'll know what I'm talking about. Plus you have to wait for food that isn't that great. It's not made until you order it. Pros: Clean Cons: Slow, Overrated, Nothing Special more

Great 1/29/2003

The food and service are great. And their prices are fair also. Pros: great value, service, great food Cons: na, na, na more

  • In Short
Founded in 1948, In-N-Out locations are known for their eye-catching yellow-arrow logo and spic-and-span red and white interiors. The streamlined menu includes fries, beverages and three types of hamburgers. These all-beef burgers are topped with fresh vegetables and Thousand Island-like dressing on griddled buns with optional American cheese; fries--oversized potatoes with the skins still on--are dunked in cholesterol-free cottonseed oil until just the outsides are done.
