Worst fast food ever 1/20/2003

These burgers were horrid and the french fries were nasty. The service was horrible. I'd rather go to mcdonalds or burger king. I don't understand how anyone could think this horrid burger joint is better than say fat burger or anything else. Yuck!!! more

overrated 1/19/2003

While the food is good and the service exceptional, there are better----Johnny Rockets, for example more

No ""In-N-Out Urge""? Not really... 12/28/2002

I have stopped at INOB a few times over the years while traveling to CA. It was never a destination, rather, a spur of the moment hunger thing. When INOB opened up here in Chandler, I waited a month for the masses to subside, give the crew ample training time, and to get a craving (if that's what you want to call it). I have 3 times since the summer, so my summary is generalized... I was neither pleased nor disappointed. The food (burgers and fries) are neither delicious nor awful. The burgers taste fresh (produce/buns), but are not mouth-watering. Fries are fresh, if right out of the fryer, but quickly turn limp and tasteless. The atmosphere is avg...plastic/white/red everywhere. I can think of a lot of places I'd rather get a burger meal. INOB is just another alternative for a saturated market of fast food. Your mileage may vary... Pros: FRESH PRODUCE, CLEAN Cons: PLAIN-TASTING, CROWD, TRENDY more

you've got to be kidding 12/25/2002

The bugers at this place are on the level with Burger King and cost 4 times as much. Plus there are always tons of idiots waiting in line, so even if it is the only place open that's close by, you would die of starvation. I wouldn't cross the street to eat here if it was free. Cons: Overpriced, Overpriced, Tastes like BK more

Worth the wait 12/24/2002

Although it is at most times a long wait to get your food it is worth the time. The food is very tasty and they use good ingredients. All food is prepared fresh. The value is good and it is family friendly. Pros: Good Ingredients, Tasty, Friendly Cons: Crowded, Limited Menu more

Paradise Rediscoverd 12/13/2002

Coming from California we were saddened to find no In-n-out Burger here. Our hearts were lifted when the store in Avondale opened. These burgers are delicious, fresh meat, fresh condiments and some great fry's to boot. The service has been outstanding putting aside the lineup to get in or pick up. Hope that more open up. more

boring 12/13/2002

dry, plain, boring - this burger offers nothing at all out of the ordinary and just does nothing for me! more

GREAT 12/13/2002

WELL ABOUT TIME ARIZONA HAS A IN-N-OUT BURGER I THOUGHT I WOULD HAVE TO GO TO CALI TO GET ONE!!!!!!!!! more

For The Love Of God 12/12/2002

what is the big deal with this place. The burgers are comparable to ones you get a AM/PM mini marts and the fries are never fully cooked. As for the rest of the menu, oh wait there isn't anything else. The coke is ok. more

Not real....hello? 12/12/2002

In and out burger was the worst fast joint place I have ever been to including mcdonalds and all of those whole in a wall place! They say their potatos are real, Ive seen them chop them but they taste like paste! Disgusting!!! Ya they are efficient with 3 choices to choose from but all in all I would never go there and if I had to, I would only order a soda. Pros: less choices, more efficient Cons: less choices, pasty food, long waits more

YIKES....A BURGER? 11/9/2002

I hate the fries! My kids like this place and they don't know what good food is. more

Where's the Beef???? 10/28/2002

Where's the beef? I was overly dissapointed when I ordered a cheeseburger...got through eating half of it and the meat was gone!!! I felt like I was at McDonalds. The fries are always soggy at that. When you paying 2 dollars for a cheeseburger with no meat, it's definitely a rip off. more

Simply Perfect! 10/22/2002

The simplicity of this place makes it the best in, well, in my opinion, the country! Fresh, YUMMMYYYYY burgers and fries all the time! For fast food, In-N-Out is the best burger you can ever have! Pros: Inexpensive, PERFECT more

states best 10/19/2002

not the 'norm' for fast food.its name states it all. you are in and out within a few moments no matter the size of the crowd. Pros: quality, inexpensive, fast more

Greasy! 10/19/2002

  • In Short
Founded in 1948, In-N-Out locations are known for their eye-catching yellow-arrow logo and spic-and-span red and white interiors. The streamlined menu includes fries, beverages and three types of hamburgers. These all-beef burgers are topped with fresh vegetables and Thousand Island-like dressing on griddled buns with optional American cheese; fries--oversized potatoes with the skins still on--are dunked in cholesterol-free cottonseed oil until just the outsides are done.
