Best Burgers in the Town!

Worst

In-In-Out is just not what it used to be. The burgers have been downgraded to little patties, with no juice in it what so ever. The only thing that has remained decent are the fre...

I love In-n-out Burger! 3/1/2006

I do love their hamburgers, cheese burgers, and double burgers. I have even recommended this burger shop in my own blog. But I am not a big fan of their french fries so I feel the taste is too simple. Pros: yummy burgers, no preservatives Cons: no value set, simple french fries more

Deliciously, fresh, inexpensive,fast food. 1/9/2006

It's just like you just went to the market and grilled the burgers and buns on the bar b Que. The lettuce and tomatoes just purchased off the farmers market. The fries just peeled and cut up straight from the potatoe just bought at the market as well. When I diet I still think of in n out the protien burgers are slamming!! Pros: inexpensive, delicous, fresh Cons: crowded, no phone orders, no delivery more

What's the fuss? 12/16/2005

I moved to CA 6 years ago, and have been hearing about In 'n Out constantly since. I have to say, you guys are all crazy. This is just not a good burger, and not good fast food. Fries are greasy and covered with blemishes. The burger patties are small, lettuce to big, and no available decent sauces. Amazing thing is there are some really good burgers in this town, and you guys wait in line for hours for the worst burger in CA! I just don't understand! Cons: Bad Food, Lines more

Why Not In New York?? 10/18/2005

My fiance and I traveled to L.A this year and we had read of all the burger spots in Cali. Well, we decided to give a go at the many burger spots in the Hollywood area and the best by far was In and Out! The menu is simple and the burgers were great! Wish they had onion rings though. We found ourselves at this spot late night about five times in ten days. That coming from people who don't normally eat burgers regularly. VERY ADDICTING!! Why not in NEW YORK!!! Pros: Freshness Cons: No onion Rings more

The Original ""Best"" Burger 6/14/2005

You can't go wrong ordering an original Double-Double w/cheese and grilled onions. Fresh ground beef delivered daily, along with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and the onions. ""Animal Style"" was coined for this delicious burger. And where else can you go for fresh fries, cut , rinced and cooked while you wait, but its worth it. Pros: Fresh, Cooked to Order, Grilled Onions Cons: Long drive thru, Wait for order more

Great burgers, hold the fries. 6/11/2005

This is THE place to go when what you crave is that real hamburger taste that all the other chains refuse to provide in exchange for speed and efficiency. No grey patties or dehydrated onions here. Fresh meat on a toasty bun- what could be better! I always get the same thing, a cheeseburger with grilled onions. But here is where my complaint comes in...the fries suck! It should work to their benefit that they are made from scratch on the premesis, but they botch the job regardless. Like most people, I like my fries crispy on the outside and cooked on the inside. There should be two textures. But In-N-Out (which should be renamed Sit-N-Wait) serves hard, pale yellow matchsticks that are never crispy or fully cooked. They taste like raw potatoes, just awful. But since I'm there for my cheeseburger, I'll tolerate this shortcoming. Pros: cheap, tasty Cons: the wait, bad fries, the wait more

Socal's Best Bugers! 5/6/2005

The Freshest and Tastiest 3/15/2005

In N Out has the freshest, tastiest burgers around. All of the ingredients are the best quality. Their french fries are made from 100% fresh, never frozen, russet potatoes. The fries are perfectly cooked, generously portioned and taste superb. The staff will always try to accomodate special orders such as extra grilled onions or grilled and fresh onions added to a burger. A double-double with both kinds of onions and everything on it is a real handful and a burger lover's delight. Pros: Good Parking, Inexpensive, Fast Service Cons: Not enough locations, busy at lunch hour, not open 24 hours more

Decent Burger But Not Sure About All The Fuss 3/7/2005

In n out makes a decent burger. Really, it's just decent. I mean, have you ever really stopped to just taste the meat? It's nothing special. If you're talking amazing grilled bun and thousand island, now that's something. But the burger itself is just ok. Also, i'm not a fan of thin sliced french fries but if that's your thing then these are fresh. Don't get me wrong, I eat there a lot out of convenience and price (lunch for under $2!), but I'm not going to join the masses who say this totally rocks their world. Oh, the employees are always so nice and friendly--unusual for a fast food place. They get paid above minimum wage and it shows. And the veggies are delivered fresh. Pros: fresh veggies, good bun, friendly service Cons: meat just ok, long waits, minimal locales more

Unexpected Fan 2/16/2005

I had heard all the hype about this place when I first moved to LA. It lived up to it - and I am a vegetarian! The grilled cheese there is the best (I get it animal-style). Their milkshakes are fantastic. This is one of the only fast food restuarants I will eat at, after reading Fast Food Nation. But even that book, which exposes fast food chains for their methods, devotes several pages to In N Out, singing its praises for the way they treat their staff, their cleanliness, and how they buy (locally) their meat and produce. more

Sure, years ago; but not now! 2/9/2005

15 or 16 years ago when I first experienced this chain, I'll admit I was impressed with the overall quality, cleanliness and value. But over time, like every other fast food restaurant, the burgers got smaller and ""dryer"", and the prices crept up. At this point, this place is a joke. If you enjoy a couple of tiny, razor-thin, pieces of dry matter between a bun, get yourself a double-double. You'll be starving in an hour or two. Pros: clean Cons: bad food more

Can I get a 4x4 please? 7/19/2004

Best burgers in the world, period. In fact I have a friend that ate three 4x4's in one sitting. Grew up around the corner - makes me wish I still lived in Cali. Cool shirts as well. Pros: Burgers, Fries, Shakes Cons: , not in Chicago, not in Chicago more

In-N-Out Burger is the best around! 6/18/2004

i have been eating in-n-out ever since i was a lil kid! ur fisrt time will be akward.. getting used to the freshness of the fries and burgers and the 100% ice cream made shakes but after the first 2 or 3 sips or bites..YOUR HOOKED! yummm i reccomend to double-double animal style, animal style fries( the fries...i finished them before i got home!) and to drink.. a choco-vanilla swirl shake! your gonna love it! in-n-out is my nummero uno AKA #1 number one, best tasting hamburger stand in the whole world! Pros: cheap prices.westside, goodparking.service!, fingerlickingood food more

Great & Fast 6/14/2004

I ate at In & Out for the first time this year. My husband took me to Cali. for a week vacation. He is from there and had been raving about that place since we met. I will abmit I never thought a fast food place could be that great but I was wrong. The prices are good, the food is amazing/healthy, and the people who work there are very nice. I wish there was one on the east coast. I've been craving it ever since. Pros: Inexpensive, Great Food, Places to sit and eat more

Best Burgers Ever 5/30/2004

I work for In-N-Out and I eat it everytime I work. In-N-Out is the best place to work for and the best place to eat. They give us a free meal everyday that we work and I never get sick of it. The meat is always juicy as well as the vegetables being fresh. We peel, dice, and fry our own potatoes all day long. They start us off at $8.25/hour and we get a $0.25 raise every time we move up a level. There is plenty of room for advancement and coming from a busy store, the work is fun because it goes by fast! more

Service 5/5/2004

This company does extremely well in selecting and training their employees. I rate them real high in this area. They hire folks who represent our society well which brightens anyones day. Good for In-N-Out, you're way ahead of the rest of them. It's the people and the price of a REAL hamburger that makes them excel. gc more

Good but overrated 4/6/2004

In-N-Out Burger is one of the most overrated bburger joints. Their food is good and at a good price, but there are so many more independent spots that offer a bigger, better tasting burger. The In-N-Out offering of a DoubleDouble is a substantial burger, but tends to be on the salty side. The fries are overly hyped as fresh cut, but they fail to mention that they are also dry and bland. Pros: Made to order, Economical, Simple Cons: , Salty burgers, Bland fries more
