I Love This Place. . . 2/6/2011

I took some pictures (February 2011), just for you. I hope you enjoy them. Every horse has a name, born and raised obviously with much love. A picture is worth a thousand words. I had the best time. My second hour was at half price and when I left I got a card for a free ride for my next visit. My five year old rode her very own horse (Velvet) out on the trails with me. My husband who is very big and tall rode HoHo. I wanted to run, jump, play so I rode Awsome. more

Worst equestrian place! 8/6/2009

This ""barn"" is the lowest equestrian place you could find. I have know this barn for several years due to the fact that my barn is near theirs. In the Breeze's horses are malnourished and treated horribly. However, if you visit this ranch you may not see what I am speaking of because the horses that are unwanted by In the Breeze are pushed back into the woods behind the barns and parking areas. \r \r In the Breeze is actually known for their abuse to horses through the horse community. It is so bad there that equine vets refuse to go to their barn! The ASPCA has been called on this ranch a number of times along with many cases getting built up to shut this business down. The only reason it hasn't (in my opinion of course) is due to the fact that the owner is connected with the sherriffs office. And its not that they don't have the money to buy the horses food and supply water, because if take a look out on sheldon road they just bought a nice big sign for advertising... maybe that $300+ should have gone to feeding their horses....?!? They are wrong, lack morals and ethics... and it needs to get to the publics attention because it has been going on for way to long!\r \r Bottom line.. if you bring any business to this horrible unethical place then you are naive and foolish. Pros: Ok trails Cons: Abuse horses ..... more

The Gospel Truth 9/24/2008

My friend volunteered out there for about 6 month this year. Her entire family dedicated countless hours weekly to help the Owner and Manger turn that place around. She was loved by the volunteers and customers. The owner and the manager missed out on that one big time!!! She tried to tell them. She tried to help them. Their EGO?s were to big for their own good. It was so sad to read all of these truths here today. Everything in these comments about the horses being mistreated, underfed, and the volunteers mistreated are absolutely true. This is what finally drove my good friend to leave them. It broke her heart. She could no longer stand by and watch the owner of this place manipulate, mislead, and mistreat the good natured volunteers that were working together in the best interest of the animals. She moved out of state a few months ago and she is going to be so disappointed when she hears about what has happened to the ranch and kids she loved so much. Her and her husband took care of the kids out there like they were their own. Truly GREAT PEOPLE! All of you who have been there this year and worked there this year know exactly who I am talking about. She does not need her name spoken. Knowing her, would not want her name spoken. Everything she did was from the kindness of her heart and she never expected or accepted anything in return. People like the owner and manager of the breeze are the kind of people that break the hearts of angels. They were sent one and they were not worthy. What goes around comes around and that is the gospel truth.\r more

HORRIBLE RANCH!!! 7/2/2008

My experience was that the owner is a unlawful deputy sheriff who should have had the horses taken away from her years ago. The scenery around the barn was horrible with fences broken, nails sticking up, a barn that's about to collapse, and no shade for the horses. \r My expectations were NOT met. There was a horse out there that needed vet care and the manager refused to call one out so a member of staff called animal services and was fired because she was trying to help the horse.\r They specialize in putting on a big cover-up. They will talk you into oh our horses are ""fat and happy"" but they are quickly dropping weight. They also specialize in banning volunteers who try to get help for the horses.\r They ARE NOT a good deal at all.\r I would NOT recomend this ranch for anyone.\r I have been riding horses for over 16 years and training for 8 of those and I will not go out there because it is too sad and i can't do anything for them!!! Pros: Volunteers actually care for the horses, and try to help out Cons: Nasty fences, barn about to collapse, sick and injured horses, pastures in Horrible shape more

Dont Go 5/14/2007

This is a very sad place. The horses are definatly underfed. There is torn down barbwire fencing laying around by one of the paddocks. There are horses with terrable sores all over there body. They are left standing in the hot sun with their saddles on all day with very little shade if any. Their so called barn had a concret floor rthat the horses that are in there have to stand on. Its dicusting. THis place should be closed down. Appently they care very little for their horses. I talked to someone about this place and they said vets wont even go out there. Now thats sad! Pros: No pros Cons: Too many to list more
