Under the direction of Founder and Publisher, Alan G. Mock from its inception in the autumn of 2001 until the spring of 2005. Mr. Mock sold the publication to its employees for the sum of $1.00 under a number of stringent conditions which would allow the magazine to remain an active force in the Tampa Bay market as he returned to his native Pennsylvania for an indefinite period to be with a terminally ill nephew.\r
Shortly after Mr Mock's departure in the spring of 2005, IMAGO suffered under the direction of its new publisher and sadly disappeared from the Tampa Bay market later that year.
