Best burrito anywhere! 4/12/2008

Beats Chipotle everytime! 11/13/2006

If you're on the mall you can't get better fast food than IP. The potato burritos rock, but I always get them in a bowl. Always a lunch crowd, so be prepared to stand in line. More choices than I know what to do with on the menu, though I always come up with something delicious. If you get your burrito in a bowl the tortilla or chips come free. more

Don't use your credit card!!! 10/9/2003

Awesome potato burrito, IP has my favorite burrito. You have to be fast about telling them about any special preferences, they make your burrito assuming everyone wants the same helpings. The cashiers are too lazy to safely put your signed cashier copy in the register - anyone could take or read the numbers & exp. date from your credit card!!! It would be like putting your credit card in visibility of various strangers. Pros: good taste, variety, made to order Cons: Noisey music, low consciousness more

Everything from the ingredients to the preparation to the way everything is blended in the end (the best part!) Illegal Pete's has no real competition other than for street corner locations. I spend double the price of the food on transportation to get there just to have the privilege of eating the best burritos I have ever had. If you live in Denver or Boulder - it's no secret that these are the best burritos around, maybe not authentic burritos, but whatever they are they are the best. The tortilla is perfect and the ingredients are seasoned well - they don't skim when putting the ingredients on the burrito either - They fill it until it burst. Cheap and Yummy. Laid back atmosphere, friendly waitstaff that speaks English, happy hour, tender meats, salsa variety, and on top of it all, they take the extra step to STIR the ingredients in your burrito so that you don't have humongous bites of just one ingredient. Yum! more

Unlike Chipotle, which is indeed good, Illegal Pete's does a little something extra to their burritos-- they mix the ingredients together. It blends well, and tastes a heck of a lot better than Chipotle. more

Great place to go! 7/26/2002

I really appreciate the fact that the staff is so friendly at both the one in Denver and the one in Boulder. And if you're vegetarian or vegan they make are flexible enough to make modifications without charging you for it like one of the other take out places mentioned.
