The place can not handle more than one customer at a time and when you inquire to speak to the manager they tell you there is no one there in charge. Evantually the manager appears and insults you. Quicker you should eat in the local pizza place than here!!!! more

Incredible Italian Food with Great Outdoor Seating with View of the Hudson 5/21/2007

My wife and I have eaten dinner at this restaurant a couple of times and we have been blown away by the food each time. We have usually gone with a group and ordered family style so we have gotten to try many of the dishes on the menu. Among the can't miss dishes are the Prince Edward mussels in a slighlty spicy tomato sauce, the Jumbo scallops in a pink brandy sauce with home made ribbon pasta and the duck breast in a marsala wine sauce. The sauces are very light and simple and compliment the food well. The restaurant also features and extensive wine list and fantastic deserts. Also when the weather is nice you can't go wron eating on their outdoor patio overlooking the Hudson River. more

Great Italian food al fresco 7/25/2005

The Italian food at this Irvington restaurant is great, but even better when enjoyed on their lovely patio overlooking the Hudson River. Have been here a few times, most recently we enjoyed the lasagna and a bowtie pasta with chicken and asparagus specal. Desserts are delicious as well. The service is merely ok - our first server seemed distracted and our second server was accommodating and friendly but overwhelmed (I think he was closing out the 6 remaining tables). Overall, not a show-stopping dining experience, but pleasantly worthwhile and fulfilling nonetheless. Pros: Food, Patio w/ view, Ambience Cons: OK service, OK value more
