Ierna’s Heating & Cooling

I found an ad in a local magazine for a promotion to have an inspection/cleaning for A/C unit for only $29.95. I was skeptical, thinking this was one of those "intro" prices and that later they would try to sell me some costly repair or service. NOPE. First, the person who answered the phone was very polite and had an appointment the next day. The next day the service advisor (Clay) called ahead and let me know he was on the way. Clay was awesome! Checked out the AC handler and Unit, cleaned it up and checked it out. No crazy sales speech, no pressure. Clay was an all around good guy and had a great conversation. I have a renewed belief that there are good companies out there that are ethical and trustworthy. I highly recommend! Thank you! more

Called for their advertised special. I had an existing problem of outside unit buzzing when running so I knew something needed fixing or replacing as well. Jay, the service tech, dida very thorough job cleaning and inspecting the outside unit and replacing the bad part. Flushed the drain line and inspected the air Handler and evaporator. Treated the drain pan with chemical tablets to keep crud from developing. Worked for over an hour. Did a great job. Gave me estimates on a new unit since current one is 16 years old. No high pressure sales. more

I called early in the morning because my oustside unit stopped working the night before and caused the air to blow warm. The girl who answered the phone was very polite and took my information and told me that they would be by in the later part of the day and that they would call at least 30min before arrival. I received a call from the service guy in the middle of the afternoon telling me that he would be by around 6:30-7pm and asked if that was acceptable (I'm sure they're SWAMPED in the Summer). Running just a little late, Matt had the courtesy to call me at about 6:45pm and let me know that he would be closer to 7:15pm and sure enough, he was right on time. He was VERY polite and quickly repaired my unit explaining exactly what he was doing as he went. He gave me advice on how to make sure my unit was well maintained, but wasn't trying to "sell me" on their maintenance service...just giving me GREAT advice. It may seem silly to some that I'm so pleased with them showing up at 7:15pm, but if you've ever had to wait on a repair person "some time between 12-8pm" and they just showed up randomly...you will appreciate the effort of keeping me informed. Also, to get same-day service and not be guaged because of your desperation goes a long way for me.I had a GREAT experience with Ierna and would definitely use their services again, although I hope it's YEARS down the road.....Thanks Matt and Ierna!!! more

We used Ierena's Lutz location several times for service issues. I chose to go with a different company when I replaced the unit and unknown to me they installed the unit without pulling a permit. When ierena found out that we had used another company they vindictably reported me to building and zoning. WOW! Who does that? Pretty pathetic must be hard up for business when you feel you have to snitch on customers that chose not to use them anymore.. You deserve 0 stars more

I have always used Ierna's services since I moved to Tampa 3 years ago. I was very impressed and told the tech, that if ever I bought a new unit, it would be from Ierna's. Our outstanding sales guy was Todd Wright. He came out Monday and we made the deal. Tuesday morning, Nathan and Dallas came and installed the unit. They ran into some unexpected difficulties with the filter. I was sweating b...ullets that this was going to result in a hefty upcharge. But they checked with the service manager, and he said the problem would be solved for no additional charge. I had already aimed two 30" box fans at them set on high, and supplied tools they were missing like a pipe wrench and a PVC pipe cutter which expedited their work. My wife and I were so grateful, we loaded those two excellent installers up with homemade cookies, all the ice-cold A&W root beer, cherry-Pepsi, and cherry Dr. Pepper they could drink. They left here with a smile on their face, and looking for yet another place to urinate after all the drinks. A good time was had by all, and we are not merely happy; we are ecstatic bordering on euphoric.--Dan Burson more
