I will NEVER order another cake from here, and I strongly advise everyone who reads this to avoid ""Ideal"" cakes. It was hardly ""Ideal"". The cake I ordered, had the wrong birthdate printed on it, the writting was so unreadable in parts you had to guess what it said. The picture was pixilated so badly it was hard to tell it was my daughter. There was a thumb print in the cake and a host of other issues that brought me to tears! Unfortunately, I had asked my sister to pick up the cake for me, or else I would have walked out, leaving my ""Ideal"" cake behind, however I immediately called ""Ideal"" Cakes, once I seen the cake, to voice my displeasure with the Cake and all the errors on it, and I could not possible use it, and I was told Oh no, that's too bad. Sorry! We'll send you a gift certificate for a percentage off another cake..REALLY?! Do you really think I would ever get another cake from you? Not a chance! This was a simple sheet cake that we pick out of a book of cakes that they could do. It was so bad, everyone who seen it only could say WOW that's bad. Since we only had hours before the party and couldn't possibly get another cake in such a short period of time, we were pretty much stuck with this horrible cake. more

Yes, mistakes happen and even store owners can be stressed and overworked around the holidays enough to keep them from kowtowing to a customer. But... there are never any leftovers with an Ideal Cake, they have everything you need to make your own cakes, cupcakes and other baked goods with a WOW! factor, and are 98% courteous, helpful and wonderful to work with. You get a HOMEMADE style taste, not the HO_HUM of other in-store bakeries. You have got to try it to believe it! more

I found this bakery to be very unprofessional. I went to them after my favorite bakery ""U Take The Cake"" closed. On their recording, they recommended Ideal Cakes. I ordered a Cinderella doll cake for my daughter's birthday. I went in on a Tuesday and was specifically asked if it was too short of notice to get the cake for that Saturday, especially since it was Easter weekend. They said it would be fine. When a friend went to pick it up, there was no cake. She called me and I got on the phone with the owner. I immediately grabbed my receipt and realized they had written the wrong date. When I explained, her first response was ""Well I can't produce a cake out of thin air."" There was no apology or attempt to make the situation right. They refunded my money and told me that there was no way I would find someone to do a doll cake on such short notice and that I should take something they already had in the cooler. more

I have had these cakes for evry occasion since I was a little girl. Now, I get these cakes for my girls! I recommed them to anyone. more
