Obviously the people who own this place have a monopoly on the whole ice rink in Hawaii, but that also means thats its more of kids place then anything else. The food is entirely...

Great Attraction 11/25/2008

Ice Palace is a really good place in which to celebrate a birthday, especially if you want to try something different after you've spent a long time under the sun in Hawaii. There are times when they teach people how to ice-skate, but during the late hours of the weekdays Ice Palace is reserved for ice hockey and ice skating lessons and practice. Admission prices aren't so expensive, and neither are lessons. more

Ice Skating in Hawaii?! 11/11/2005

Who would have thought that you could ice skate in Hawaii. Well you can if you go to Ice Palace. The last time I went there it cost me about 8 bucks to skate around the rink for about 4 hours. The cost of admission includes the cost of renting ice skates although you are allowed to bring your own. more

Kind of Yucky for a skating rink 10/13/2005

Obviously the people who own this place have a monopoly on the whole ice rink in Hawaii, but that also means thats its more of kids place then anything else. The food is entirely overpriced for what they give you and the facilities leave much to be desired. If you;ve been to a real skating rink on the mainland this will definetly not impress you. However, its the only one on the island soI guess if you need to go then go. more

All Fun 9/24/2005

Ice Palace may not seem like the most beautiful place in the world but it is the most fun place on this island. You can have your birthday party there and also play at the arcade. You can also enjoy the food. Its a great place to have fun with friends. It is also very cold so dont wear shorts and always bring a jacket. Ice Palace is a great place to go especially during the summer. And if you dont know how to skate, dont worry. They have a place on the rink where you can learn. more

Only to place to go if you want to ice skate in Hawaii 9/10/2005

For a change of pace , something different to do if you are in Hawaii and want something difference besides the beaches and sun here. Its away from the Waikiki and Downtown Honolulu area , but not really far. For $7.50 including skate rental , you can skate in a fairly large warehouse like building setting all day. They have reduced rates early in the afternoon. There is also food and video games for kids who arent into skating. A great place to take your kids. more

Skating facilites in the 50th state are rare, so this one has the monopoly of the situation. there are classes and hockey games. the music is loud and they play games upon occasion. great value on a hot day PROS: climate value CONS: more

  • The Ice Palace is an ice-skating rink that is located in Honolulu and features a video game area. It also hosts several events, such as birthday parties, family events and skating competitions. The Ice Palace offers a youth hockey program that develops character building, physical fitness and team working skills. It operates a pro shop that sells a variety of items, such as ice-skate apparel, gloves, socks, blinking lights, beanies and other equipment. The pro shop offers products from various brands, including Nike, Bauer, Itech, Easton, Koho, Sher-wood, Jackson, Riedell, Mondor, Wilson and MK. The Ice Palace additionally provides repair, blade mounting and sharpening services.
