Nick really knows his stuff! He is an excellent craftsman. I highly recommend him. He not only does carpentry but is highly skilled in bathrooms and all areas of home refurbishment. I'm a direct, no nonsense person who likes efficiency, order, and reliability. We've all experienced contractors, repair service persons, etc, and many of them do not do the tasks or jobs in a consumer's home the way the consumer would like. Nick is a contractor who is exemplary in his work. The free estimate he supplied us with was spot on. The cost was quite fair and honest. He repaired the cupboard doors in my kitchen and replaced my pantry shelves. We're avid readers in my family so we're always in need of bookshelves. He repaired some old bookcases which we purchased recently at a garage sale as well as built and installed custom shelving in an alcove of our master bedroom. Nick is not just a carpenter and a contractor. He is a true craftsman. My husband and I are very pleased with Nick's work. We'll be hiring I.C.E. Construction again when the need arises. What delighted us, particularly me, even more was that Nick cleaned up after himself. The highest rating on this board is five stars. My husband and I agree - we give Nick 6 (six) stars! I am not at all good with anything involving home repair...so I needed help. My friends boss referred me to ICE construction. The owner, Nick came over the next day and went through my list of to do's and gave me an estimate of what everything was going to cost. He started work a couple days later. He put crown molding in the living room, repaired the doors in my bedroom, put shelves up in my laundry room and a couple of other small home repairs. I could not be happier. Nick was efficient, affordable, and very professional. I know that contractors can be very unreliable but Nick was the exact opposite. His final cost was right along with his estimate. I will definitly be using ICE Construction in the future. It was so nice finding someone like him I can trust with my home. Pros: Reliable, Professional, Quality work. more
