The review written by BTHOM is absolutely amazing. His comment at the end where he states ""you must try them"" is absolutely correct. Unfortunately once you do you will never ever return back for service! The service manager waits on you as if you are wasting his time, effort, and life in general. He is absolutely the worst customer service representative that I have ever come across in my days. The girl they have answering the phones is absolutely clueless and have sold me incorrect parts several times. The mechanics seem knowledgeable however I was reprimanded for speaking with the mechanics by Greg who I believe is the service manager. His exact words were I don't pay these guys to talk to you, you are wasting my money and my time. Ironically, I started asking Greg questions regarding my engine where he had to call on one of the mechanics that I was already speaking to to answer it. Their show room is run down and looks very old, their parts department lacks organization and cleanliness, their customer service is absolutely terrible one of the worst in the industry, and I shall never return here with my boat or another question again. I find it odd that some of these reviews are written as if they are advertisements. Makes you wonder who the author is. I am quite confident that the positive reviews on this website are written directly from the owners of the company themselves, or a management company hired to give positive reviews. Please consider yourself warned boat owners beware! Dont forget to check out their other NEGATIVE reviews on RIPOFF REPORT. I just have to say I was very happy with I 94. They not only fixed my boat but went out of the way and took the time to educate me on some of the things I was lacking to know, without making me feel stupid! The storage helped me out bunches as well. Definitly a place I will keep going to. more

The positive reviews in this column has for sure been created by the employees of this company. The service is one of the worst hands down. The staff are always in an extremely miserable state of mind, as if they all hate thier jobs and unfortunately take it out on the customers. I have been here several times just because of the lack of other resourses and have been let down in a terrible way. The girl behind the counter wears short... SHORT shorts. Usually this would be a positive but she is not only ignorant, refuses to say ""goodbye"" on the phone, but terrible to look at. The ""Service Manager"" is unkempt, loud, and obnoxious. Not one person who represents the company looked presentable or professional, not only by outfits, but by professionalism. Both of them treat you as if you owe them the world, even if you ask simple boating questions. Cursing, yelling, and rudness is heard throuout the counter and parts department from the service manager and desk clerk. (to the shock of my 6 year old daughter). They overcharge for almost everything comparing prices to their competitors, and have sold me wrong parts on several occasions even after giving them my engine serial number and information. I did unfortunately have my boat serviced here and a $400 repair job quote turned into a $1400 overhaul. Magically all the things that were not an issue, were. I have since found a different service department 50 miles further than them, and am happy to make the trip. Hope this helps anyone who needs an honest review. BEWARE!! more

Been in area for 30 years, regardless of the new owners I have yet to meet ANYONE that was happy with the service. I think some of these reviews where written by staff. Beware. more

I-94 Marine… the BEST service in town HANDS DOWN! \r I was new to boating when I started doing business with I-94 Marine a few years ago. I had contacted a few Marine repair shops prior to I-94 trying to find more data on the outboard engine on my new (used) pontoon. When I started asking questions about my Force engine to I-94 Marine they gave me complete detail on the engine, the manufactures history of recalls, repair kits against the recalls and how I could determine if the recall repair was already completed on my outboard engine. Many other local Marine repair shops were not willing to take a little extra time to address my concerns. I-94 is extremely informational on all marine engines both inboard and outboard. I am a mechanical inclined person and wanted to familiarize myself with my Force engine incase I ran into problems while out on the water. Greg at I-94 is always willing to answer my many, many questions that I continue to ask for advice on without hesitation. (It’s great the patients that they have for all my return visits. ?…)\r I have referred many friends and family in the area and up to 40 minutes away to I-94 Marine for service on boats of all sizes. They have been pleased with the repair service and continue to go to I-94 for repairs, winterizing, shrink wrapping and all their boating needs. I’ve NEVER received anything but POSITIVE feedback from each of them regarding their service with I-94 Marine. \r I-94 Marine has all your boating needs in stock from ladders, anchors, pumps, cleaners, life jackets, and numerous GREAT large tubes for all ages at great prices!! Having trailer problems? Need wiring, lights, tires they have it too!! ( I restored my trailer last season painting and replacing all wiring and lights.) I-94 is always willing to special order anything they may not have in stock for you and they have it in just a few days.\r They have a friendly and courtesy staff. I paid for what I thought was good work to be done. Only to have to take my boat elsewhere and pay them to repair damages from i94's original work. So all in all it cost me twice as much to have simple work done. I could not honestly recomend them to anyone at this point.\r I give them a BIG THUMBS DOWN on this one!!!!!! They are very friendly and knowledgeable plus I feel like they tell it like it is and let the customer know what their options are.They always have helpful advice. They have a great selection of items in the store and can order anything marine related that they don't stock, and now they have a new indoor boat showroom that is the best in the area. I think this marina is under new management. They are very friendly and have provided me excellent service. I have even started buying some items from the store which used to carry hardly anything, but now is nicely stocked. I am trying to convince my wife to trade up since we drove by and saw they started selling boats now! I think you'll be happy with the maint. and service I know we have been.
