Not worth it 3/24/2010

We stayed there our wedding weekend. First, I booked my spa appointments two months in advance and then called two weeks prior and they had no idea what i was talking about. I had to change all my plans around what they could do. The guy on the phone was sooo rude! Pros: Can't think of any Cons: Poor service, Poor booking at spa, food just okay more

Nice Romatic Getaway 7/21/2008

I treated my girlfriend to a weekend getaway for her birthday and scored some major points while being pampered with great service, long hikes, and the best couples spa at Spa Django. The spa was an amazing experience with a steam room, sauna, and a great pool with a jaccuzzi outside. We topped off the night with a campfire outside and a bottle of wine. more

Amazing restaurant!!! 9/17/2007

Stories restaurant has to be one of the best restaurants in Austin! My wife and I came fromAustin to have a romantic weekend and where blown away by the food. Everyone from Austin needs to come and check out this place. The staff was very professional and the food is on par with the driskill or any of the other high end places downtown. Pros: secluded and quiet Cons: bit of a drive more

great quick getaway 4/11/2007

this is a nice place to go for a quick getaway.....it has quite a few amenities to offer on site.....the pool is great, very attractive and fun.....good for families as well as couples....only drawback was that food was mediocre at the bar and buffet restaurant.....rooms are very nice.....the resort itself is nicely removed in a very private and remote area......great customer service and friendly, helpful staff......i inquired with the front desk about how i could possibly purchase the shower gel provided in the rooms, as it smelled very nice.....and to my pleasant surprise, one of the receptionists gave me a bag full of at least 15-20 small travel size shower gels to go!!! and she still asked me if there was anything else i wanted!!!! excellent service, though rooms are priced on the higher end......but you definitely get what you pay for!! more

Best Hotel in Austin area, impeccable level of service 11/14/2006

I really enjoyed Lost Pines. I stayed a Thursday through Saturday. . I loved the restaurants, bars, activities and amenities. . We ate at the Firewheel and the food was great. Pros: Lots to do, great food, close to airport Cons: distance from Austin, pricey more

Incredible to work with 10/30/2006

I worked with the catering staff to plan a very important dinner that my company was hosting at the hotel. They were so patient and helpful while in the planning stages, and the dinner ended up being an incredible success because of them. The hotel was able to set us up in a great cabin on their property, and I heard wonderful feedback from my colleagues who attended. It was a fantastic event for us which would not have been as great if it weren't for the staff here. I don't think I could thank them enough. Those who attended the event also said that the hotel was everything you could ask for--clean, great service and staff, very comfortable. All in all the catering staff has made me 100% loyal to the Hyatt brand. Well done and thank you! Pros: Lots of places on the property Cons: Far from downtown Austin for planning a business event more
