bad service, they charged me $100 for a diagnose test, told me i needed a new engine that it would cost $4000 found out i just needed a small senser.

AWFUL! Mikey the manager was extremely rude and didn't seem to know what he was doing. After making me wait for 2 hrs. he wanted to give me thousands less than the blue book value for my trade in. I was ready to buy but went to another place that gave me exactly what I wanted and it was thousands more. Never again! more

I wish to take the time to commend Hunter Nissan in Hendersonvolle NC. I was traveling through the area and experienced a mechanical failure, which luck was on my side. My Service Engine soon light came on. I stopped in and was immediatley greeted, and brought in to shop. My concern was quickly diagnosed as a faulty fuel cap, and repairs were covered under warranty. In and out of shop in under an hour and on the road with no further cocerns. This is first class / world class service!!!\r Thank you Hunter Nissan. Thank you Hunter Nissan Service for this pleasurable \r experience. more

I bought a Ford Explorer and a new Altima from Hunter Nissan as stated by another consumer Hunter Nissan Lincoln Mercury sales department is great to work with I agree 110%. My experience with there service department have all been excellent. \r My Ford Explorer after about 2 months of ownership I noticed a roaring noise from the rear of the vehicle come to find out it was bad wheel bearing. I took my vehicle to the service dept where there where very very helpful assisting me with the set up of a rental car as well as making sure I was comfortable during the time inwhich my vehicle was being serviced.\r I'm very thankful to there finance deptment for selling me a extended warranty that covered my rental car as well as the repairs to my vehicle. The job that was done was excellent and they were really friendly and my warrant paid for itself the first time I used it. more

Excellent sales, horrible service center 8/14/2008

Hunter Nissan of Hendersonville tried to get me to pay for a new ABS Actuator ($1200) when the only problem I had was a missing transmission air dam (cost: $75), which cools the transmission. At the second Nissan shop I went to, they noticed that problem AND they were astute enough to realize that I had a bad oil cooler O-ring.\r \r Aside from that, when I left Hunter Nissan's service center, I had to actually ask for a printed summary of what the mechanic found. The only thing on my first receipt said ""customer declined repairs"". Keep in mind that this was after I paid them almost $100 just to print out some diagnostics and do a pinch of research. Having to ask for the mechanic's summary as an extra step was a little annoying.\r \r I have heard from a friend that this Hunter Nissan's sales department is excellent, but I would *never* recommend the service department.\r \r P.S. They do not service third-party warranties, so unless you are the original owner with an official Nissan warranty, don't even think about trying this service department.
