Hunt-Shelton Funeral Home

One gentleman (attendant) slept during a visitation I attended. The other gentleman sat and read the newspaper. I have attended funerals at other places nearby where the attendant greeted each visitor and gave their condolences. That was definately not the case here. They were not at all personable and very much non chalant. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. more

I have known this family for many years, and they are in the wrong business. They should have gone into a profession that does not require professionalism, and compassion. They are out for the almighty dollar. Your family does not matter to them. I won't give them the opportunity to make me feel like a bother EVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!! Shelton Hunt is the very very worst of the worst. They have handled funerals of my friends and relatives over the past several years. It is my opinion that that are lower than low! They are rude, and pushy. When a family has a death, they need some level of compassion from the funeral home staff. From Robert Shelton to the guy who cleans the toilets; they all have terrible attitudes and act as though they are the only funeral directors in the state. They act like you owe them something, when in turn they are the ones who are supposed to be providing a professional service. If I have a say so, not one more of my friends or relatives will ever have to fall victim to these heartless people.
