I want to thank you for the great service we recieved and the great food. our waitress was Patty and she was so wonderful, very concerned about our happiness . She will be one of the reasons we will be back. I know I have never recieve better service in any restaurant. Please let her know we are very greatful......thank you again, Pam more

GREAT FOOD, GREAT PRICES, GREAT SERVICE!!! 1/25/2007

I've been visiting The Hungry Bear for quite a while now (3+ years). It's great fun for the whole family! If you're looking to get a good steak for a decent price, this is definitely the place for you. On their menu they have salads, hamburgers, chicken, ribs, seafood and plenty of other meals. They also serve simple foods like chicken fingers and grilled cheese for the kids. The employees take time to talk to you and make sure you're enjoying your meal. They genuinely care. It's a lovely place. There need to be more old fashioned restaurants around like The Hungry Bear! more

NOT PLEASANT 11/30/2005

NOT ONLY WERE THERE NATS FLYING AROUND THE RESTAURANT BUT WHEN I TOLD THE WAITRESS, "BENI" WHO WAS STRAIGHT OUT OF TRAILER PARK, SHE SAID THAT EVERY RESTAURANT HAS THEM AND STARTS SWATTING AT THEM WITH HER FILTHY RAG SHE USED TO WIPE THE TABLE. AS I WAS LEAVING THERE THE MANAGER ASKED HOW WAS EVERYTHING? WHAT A JOKE THE WHOLE TIME HE WAS ONLY A FOOT AWAY WHILE WE WERE TRYING TO SQUISH THOSE NASTY BUGS. OBVIOUSLY THIS PLACE IS NOT RUN VERY WELL ON TOP OF HAVING WAITRESSES THAT HAVE NO MANNERS AT ALL. BUT WE DID EAT DOWN THE STREET AT A LOVELY RESTAURANT THAT WAS CLEAN AND THE WAITRESSES DIDN'T LOOK LIKE THEY HAD BEEN ROAD HARD AND PUT AWAY WET. OH SORRY WHEN YOU GET ME AROUND THOSE KIND OF PEOPLE I START TO TALK LIKE THEM. more
