I had a small leak which was diagnosed by another shop as coming from the right CV. They wanted $500+ for a rebuilt unit and install. I saw the reviews on Howies, called, and got a more reasonible estimate. Itook the truck to Howies and got a call 2 hours later telling me the part doesn't need to be replaced at this point.\r I've lived in Vegas a long time, but this was a first! more

Looking for an honest repair shop . . . 7/17/2010

I have been taking my cars to Howie's for almost six years now and have referred them to countless friends. My recommendation isn't that they are the cheapest, but that they are reasonable, honest, and will always complete the job for their original quote. They aren't looking to stick you with a big bill, but run the business so that their customers are loyal. That's why they've been in business for over 20 years. more

I have been taking my cars to Howie's for almost six years now and have referred them to countless friends. My recommendation isn't that they are the cheapest, but that they are reasonable, honest, and will always complete the job for their original quote. Long time local Business, Average Price 9/28/2005

This business, located on Main Street, I think has been around for years. There are many locals that seem to have returned time and time again and have a personal history with Howie, the owner, who works in the shop. The prices are about the same as everywhere else, but it is a place where the employees and customers all know each other and keep returning. The bathroom was out of order when I came.
