I do not recommend House of Brides to ANYONE. For one their prices are WAY over mark up. Their customer service is extremely rude. My best friend and I both dealt with them for our weddings. All they care about at house of brides is getting their money. They lie straight to your face about when tuxes are going to be in, what sizes they order, and everything. They made all my bridesmaids pay a 30 $ rush fee on their bridesmaids dresses that were already over $225 EACH , and the dresses came in just barely 3 weeks before my wedding. The only person there who cares if you are happy is Judy, NOT the owners mother Judy, but the Seamstress Judy. They owners mother wasn't even calling my the correct name and i have been working with them for well over a year, the day I had them special order my custom bridal gown. Between my wedding and my best friends wedding we have spent atleast 4000 dollars there, and they just did not care one bit if we were happy with anything or not. in EVERY conversation we had with them, they would always interupt somewhere asking about money, weather we were paying any today, if it was paid for or when we wanted to pay for it. Jill the owner, literally was walking away from me while i was in mid conversation with her almost everytime i was in there. I had a ahorrible expeireince. My best man's tux didn't fit, they ordered EVERYTHING the wrong size and then lied to our faces and said that we didn't ask for a certain when we most certainly did. He went to strictly formal to get the shirt he needed the DAY BEFORE MY WEDDING. Strictly formal was very nice and didn't give a crap a bout money, they just wanted to fix HOB mess ups, like they ALWAYS do! do not go there unless you want a stressful expeirience.
