I have my carpets cleaned about twice a year & we have some problem areas where my dogs like to use the bathroom so i know what to expect. they showed up on time but charged me 25...

VERY POOR SERVICE 10/19/2009

I had Houndstooth come out to do airduct and furnace cleaning for me. They came and did a very poor job. I had the technicians of two separate companies do an inspection on the job as well as the gas company and they all said it had not been completed while they showed me what was not done. I called Houndstooth about it and the guys who came called me trying to find out why they should come back. I told them..they said they would come and they have never arrived. This is since Spring 2009. NOT RECOMMENDED Cons: Very unprofessional and did not complete job more

WORST EVER !!! HORRIBLE 9/28/2009

Horrible Horrible !!! I scheduled to have my carpet cleaned between 12 p and 3 p and they techs never showed up. I had toc all and check to see what was going on, the company did not care to call. When I called the rep on the phone said they could not get in touch with the techs, and had not been able to all day and that they could not tell me when they would show up. I canceled !!! This is ridiculous ! I guess you get what you pay for, or in my case you just cancel !!! Very shady operation !!! Pros: NONE AT ALL Cons: WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER and NO SHOWS more

Very proffesional, got out to my house on time and did an excellent job! Never tried to give a different price than quoted. This is the only carpet cleaners I will ever use because they deliver excellence! Pros: They deliver excellence more

Totally worth 70 bucks!! 8/25/2009

I have seen Houndstooth coupons in my mailbox for a number of years, but I finally decided to try them last summer after a birthday party I had. The sales rep. I spoke to, promised there was no hidden charges at all. I went ahead and booked the appt. expecting them to sell me everything they carried on the truck, but like the lady promised, a gentleman came out and cleaned the entire house and might I add he did an exellent job! At the end of the sevice he gave me my receipt with the promised price of $69.95. I never thought a company would actually do what was advertised for the actual advertised price!! more

I highly recommend Houndstooth Carpet Cleaning. My dealings with this company go back many years and my experiences have all been very pleasant. I appreciate when a company advertises ""No Bait & Switch"" and then lives up to that promise. I never felt pressured by their cleaning technicians to add on extras to my ticket. And though I can be somewhat demanding, I found the various representatives of this company to work with me towards meeting my carpet cleaning and repair needs! Their rates are low. Their service is professional. They have always done a wonderful job on my carpets, and last time they even made my sofa sittable. Now I don't have to buy a new one! A great service. They've been around forever. Pros: great prices and great cleaning Cons: at this price and almost perfect--how can I complain? more

My wife and I have been using Houndstooth for at least fifteen years, an average of twice a year. I cannot remember a single bad experience. Their workers are pleasant, USUALLY prompt, and always professional. They get our carpets and furniture looking terrific every time before they leave our house. We certainly plan on using them as long as they're around. more

It's amazing how most carpet companies don't stick to the prices they advertise. Houndstooth is NOT one of those companies. They advertised $69.95 and stuck to it. Not only that but the technician (who was very professional I might add) got stains out that I thought were impossible to get out. I highly recommend them if you live in the metro Atlanta area. Pros: lowest prices I've seen more

Great People 8/10/2009

I use this company 6 times a year. They have always been on time and the price is unbeatable. I normally hide a key for them to get in. I never have to worry about anything going missing while I'm gone. The office people are very nice and helpful. I would recommend them to anyone! Pros: price/quality more
