This place was wonderful and I was a loyal customer... WHILE IT WAS OPEN. Sadly, when I called to make an appointment, they weren't open and my messages went unreturned, so I made the trek down to Hotties... and sadly, I discovered an empty garage with the business next to it commenting that it had folded due to the economy. If it ever opens again, I'll be back - every positive review written was accurate, and this certainly another one. If they never do reopen, thanks for the great years of service. I was out in California on vacation and started to have some car problems. Friends suggested Hotties, so off I went. I was really anticipating that I would be ripped off since that frequently happens to women. Much to my delight, I found Hotties to be refreshingly honest in their assessment of my car. Plus, it wasn't going to cost me an arm and a leg to get the work done. I just couldn't thank the owner, Pete Williamson, enough for the service he provided. three of my dealerships closed recently. tried hotties. very happy. quality workmanship, competitive prices, fast service, and an impeccable reputation. why this guys not busy, i'll never know. don't care either. as long as he's not too busy for me, i can get my cars in and done faster. he's my secret to successful car repairs. could be yours too but you keep going to your own personal crooks. ha! ha! ha! Needed a 90k service, especially since I was driving up to Seattle in 2 weeks. Remember seeing the shop in Venice just East of Overland and checked CitySearch. Took the Saturn in based on the reviews. The owner was helpful, honest, and upfront about the costs. Diagnosed a brake issue and Personally showed it to me, and let me make the choice Without pressure. He went above and beyond to help make it affordable for me, and I am just an average dude. I literally saved close to $300 dollars versus a dealer. Pros: Pricing (LESS than quote), Honesty, Friendliness Cons: Parking a little tight more

i needed an oil change one day. just happened to see their sign as i was driving down venice one day. stopped in. treated me like they'd known me all my life. got my oil change done in less than twenty minutes. went back at later date when my car wasn't running right. they fixed it right away. i'm an actress and they helped me make it in time to my audition. i got the part. we're now on a first name basis. they drop everything for me whenever i roll in. they are such sweeties. i put my headshot and portfolio in their Hotties celebrity binder. whenever i need anything, i call them. Pros: treat me like i'm part of the family, always happy to see me. Cons: they need more room to park. more

i searched online for good shops and stopped by these shops for estimates. the first three were dirty, nasty and rude and pushed me to let them start the work. the fourth place was hotties lube. their shop is clean, organized. they treated me like a person and showed me what my car needed now and what could be done later. their prices were better than the others. and they didnt push me. so i had the work done there. my car is like new again. the owner is so sweet. he even cleaned my windows. love the name too. i'm hooked. The dealer gave me a humungous list of things my car supposedly needed. Hotties reviewed the list, gave me prices below the dealer, verified some things ""weren't "" needed, and of the things that were needed told me which items i could have done later. The owner of Hotties recommended i get my brakes fixed first. He was emphatic in telling me i should get them done right away, whether at his shop or elsewhere...""i don't care where, just get them done"", he said. He was more concerned about MY safety rather than HIS pocketbook. i was blown away. so i went elsewhere to get them fixed since money was an issue for me at that time. the other shop made my brakes worse. so i went back to Hotties to have them checked again. He fixed what they screwed up and now my car stops great. Hotties is my mechanic now. Pros: honest and caring....really caring more

super nice people. good, honest mechanics. they really know their Saturns too. i take all my cars to Hotties. Prices are always lower than the dealers. and their motto is true. i spoke to the owner about it. he said he'd rather lose a job than have a customer spend their hard-earned money trying to fix something he can't and ultimately think badly of him or his place. as honest as the day is long. i've never found anyone like that in this city. this guys gonna be busy, busy, busy once the word gets out. he's gonna need a bigger place though when this happens. plus he gives discounts to police, firemen, and the people in the entertainment industry too. i'll never go anywhere else. Pros: great service and prices. respectful. caters to Saturn owners and women. Cons: place is alittle small. kinda hard to get in & out . his competition next door is ruthless. more
