Usually very expensive, but found a deal through Expedia and directly through hotel. Rooms are some of the nicest I have stayed in - LCD TV, sofa, nice bathrooms. Wish I had more ...

This was my 3rd ZAZA stay and the 3rd time I ended up changing plans and ended up cutting out some activity. I traveled in order to stay in and enjoy the room and wonderful service. Yes ZaZa is THAT great!! I look forward to many more stays. more

I failed to get the name of the young lady that checked me in but she provided stellar service. The parking valets are amongst the best I have ever dealt with. I was particularly impressed this morning, the valet was returning with my personal coffee cup which he had just rinsed out. There was a cold bottle of water waiting in my car as well. Good stuff folks!\r more

Dallas is a leisure yearly trip for me. Was semi tempted to cancel due to weather but a weekend at the ZaZa was primary motivator in deciding to go thru with the trip. Brought by bff the last two stays and he LOVES the ZaZa also. more

We live in Dallas and probably wouldn't be inclined to stay often at ZaZa but will certainly recommend it to friends when they come to visit Dallas! more

We celebrated our 24th wedding anniversary this weekend. Upon arrival, we learned that you upgraded our room to one of the Mag 7. After we arrived, we received a bottle of champagne and strawberries. Needless to say, we've had a great stay and appreciate your thoughtfulness and recognition of our loyalty to your hotel (we've been here numerous times). So, great hotel with exceptional service. Very relaxing and enjoyable weekend. more

We live in Dallas and I bid on and won a night and dinner at ZaZa/Dragonfly last December at the MADI Museum Gala Fund Raiser and just got around to using my certificate. We had a wonderful, relaxing time with you Friday evening! Your staff was very friendly and helpful when we arrived. The room was very comfortable and quiet, as I had requested. Will certainly look forward to a return visit and recommend your hotel to our out of town friends! Thanks for a wonderful, relaxing getaway! more

Disappointing 10/12/2011

While I don't think this is the worst spa in Dallas, it is far from good. Let me start off by saying this, my facial was great. The woman who did it (I forget her name) did a great job, did not talk the whole time or try to force products down my throat. I have no complaints about her, but instead with the spa itself. Like many people on here I decided to try out ZaSpa during spa week. I get facials every 4-6 weeks at Bliss and occasionally get massages. I like to pamper myself and know a good experience. I am from NY and one of the spas we have there is incredible. The women's locker room is huge with a great steam room, showers that have eucalyptus that spray you, everything is spotless with women constantly cleaning up, and then there is a sitting room which could comfortably seat 15-20 women with a fire place...it's just amazing. When I am in NY I can get a facial and massage and literally spend the day there because it is a whole experience and day of relaxation.I sit, relax, steam, get my services, shower, nap, order some lunch, etc. It is a whole day. My facials and massage there are also half the price of ZaSpa. The massage costs $95 and facial is $105 which is very affordable for NY, especially when it includes such an incredible experience. I expected that from ZaSpa, but not so. I arrived 15 minutes early and went into a locker room that serves as a sauna, bathroom, locker storage and shower. The entire locker room was literally the size of the locker storage area at my place in NY and at Bliss. ZaSpa had 1 shower and 1 toilet area and no where to change. I had to go into the toilet area and change which is gross because the last thing I want is my feet or clothes near a toilet or on dirty floors (which they were). I then went out and sat in their relaxation room which is ridiculous. It has an ugly, black, laminate table with 4 chairs, 2 chaise's and some sharper image massage chair. Hello tacky? There is not even a curtain to block it off so the entire time you see out into the reception. There are only 4-6 massage/facial rooms and it is the oddest set up ever. To make matters worse, the spa has done nothing to block the light coming into the facial and massage rooms so literally the sunlight was shining through the curtains into my eyes the entire time. Additionally, because the spa is situated on the path to love field it sounded like jets were going to fly into the room. At Bliss I go an hour or two early and relax in the showers which are amazing, sit by the pool, etc., but here I was bored and annoyed in the relaxation room after 10 minutes. It really was awful! The worst part came when it was time to check out. For Spa week all services are $50. When I booked my appointment they said there was a $15 service charge included. I automatically assumed that was gratuity because people probably stiff the employees during spa week. Well when I checked out I asked about the $15 service charge and the receptionist told me that the girl who did my facial only gets 16% of that, which is $3. The rest goes to the Spa. UM WHAT????? How ridiculous. If I hadn't asked, which I'm sure people don't, my girl would have gotten a $3 tip for a service that is normally $160, and was the only good part of the entire experience. As a result I left the girl another $25. Additionally, why is the spa adding $15 for themselves? At the end of the day I left and spent $100, on something which was supposed to be $50. I felt $100 was too much for the bad experience, let alone the original price of $160. Don't go here period. It was just bad! more

The Worst Spa in Dallas 3/11/2011

I made reservations for a Spa Day retreat for myself & 5 of my girlfriends. Two of which had never been to a spa. The pictures online were so pretty we were excited to be pampered and just be able to relax. The spa staff was unprepared and the spa was very small. The locker room was so small that we were not able to all change at the same time. Other guest were already complaining and asking us if it was our 1st visit her to the Spa we should have known by their questions we were in the wrong place. The manicures/pedicures looked as if they were done by children. The staff was totally not there to help make our experience a good one. We talked to the acting person in charge about how out of 6 people we were all 6 very unhappy. She didn't even apologize or ask how could she make things better. I contacted the manager of the Spa the next day he did not apologize either he made up excuses as to why things did not flow as they should have. He even metioned that on of the nail techs called in that morning. No one offerd to rectify the situation or try to redeem themselves. It wouldn't have mattered anyway because even if they offered an 8 hour complimentary spa retreat we would all very quickly decline. This place is terrible all around. Dont spend you $$ here! more

worst spa ever!!! Very Unclean!!! 10/4/2008

so i went to have a spa day and little did i know that when i first walk in there was a young lady with too much make up on that couldn't even acknowledge me when i walked in...keep in mind that was no one present she was just playing on the internet, so that was a bad start. I then finally got checked in to have a pedicure and as i got myself comfortable i noticed her tools looked as if they'd been sitting in nasty blue stuff for months, EW! the nail tech left me alone for several long periods of time! so that was horrible. I then proceded to have a facial and that wasn't any better, she used old sponges on my face, i then got up, didn't even want to have the rest of my services performed and tried to speak to the manager which avoided me and then didnt return my calls so she upset me to the point where i WILL NOT GO BACK!!! more
