Hotel Dupont is located in Wilmington, DE. It is a nice fancy four star hotel. We got a regular room but the water was not hot in the bath so we got upgraded to an amazing suite...

Hotel Dupont is located in Wilmington, DE. It is a nice fancy four star hotel. We got a regular room but the water was not hot in the bath so we got upgraded to an amazing suite. The suite was awesome!!! I loved the sitting room and the deep bath tub and marble tile. It was a really great room; so much better than the regular room. I was totally not impressed with the regular rooms. The bathroom lights over the sinks were very dim. more

Beautiful place for a wedding or celebration! 8/29/2005

The Hotel duPont was the perfect place for my wedding reception. The Gold Ballroom accommodates up to 400 guests (fewer if you include a dance floor) and is absolutely stunning. The duBarry Room is about half the size, but it is beautiful too. The cuisine is award-winning, and the service is excellent - from valet to maitre'd. The catering coordinator is very professional and personable; she made my event memorable. I highly recommend the hotel for your celebration! more
