I stumbled on this place. And let me say it is a real gem. The staff is professional and they accept walk ins. I just love on a down day to get my hair and nails done. Puts a smile on my face and makes me feel more confident too. more

Would never go anywhere else 4/28/2010

I have been going to hot locks since my first haircut and i am never dissatisfied. I love everyone who works there and know that when i go for an appointment, im going to get what i want and also have a good time. Bill is mainly the one who does my hair and he does an incredible job. I would recommend hot locks to anyone i knew. The prices are fair, and they do just about everything. Pros: highly skilled, great atomsphere, friendly personalities more

big bill is the best 2/2/2010

when i called salons about my curly mop, bill was the only one who asked if i was black, white, jewish, was my hair long, layered, coloured etc. he really got my attention as knowledgeable. for over 10 years bill has been giving me great advice and fabulous hair. not to mention i have an enjoyable time when im there, i always leave feeling a little bit sexier. Great Salon, Awesome Stylists 1/29/2010

I am so Happy every time I go there. This is not an uptight salon. This is a friendly place where everyone genuinely gets along and makes me love to be there. Tashav does an amazng job with the color in my hair and the styling, and this is all very difficult with my hairand what I want done. (There are places that will not attempt what I want.) Great salon, bad stylist 9/22/2009

If you go to Hot Locks, don't ask for Marc to do your hair! A friend recommended him, so I made an appointment. And then it was rescheduled. Over and over and over. When the appointment finally held and Marc started on my hair, he was so flighty - he wasn't concentrating on his customer (me!). And because he kept stopping, it took forever just for a haircut! Overall I had a terrible experiance and will never go back Pros: Nice clean salon Cons: Marc the stylist! more

bad stylist, avoid marc mazzuca 7/13/2009

Marc Mazzuca is unprofessional. He cancels appointments last minute, and I mean MINUTES beforehand. He triple books to make lots of money, while you sit and wait and wait and wait. He'll stop in the middle of your cut to order his lunch or gossip with another co-worker. Don't book him for a wedding, whatever you do. He took my money and didn't show up on my wedding day. I'm out a lot of cash. If you don't believe me, ask him how long he's worked at Hot Locks. A few weeks. Wanna know why? He's worked at a dozen other salons. He can't keep a job! Great customer service, low key and comfortable, fantastic stylists. 7/15/2008

The salon is very nice. It's cozy and comfortable. The salon and stylists are friendly and accommodating. The decor is subtle and relaxing. Salon time is supposed to be either a rejuvenating or relaxing experience and Hot Locks can accommodate either need. I highly recommend the salon. more
