Excellent guitar, drums, base & trumpet teachers 9/22/2011

My teenage son has been taking guitar, drums & base lessons from Frank Conrad for 6 years and he's an excellent mentor and teacher of music--he loves to teach music and we reap the positive results.\r My younger son takes trumpet from John Worley who is another world-class teacher! His friendly manner and worldly experience is a great match for my son. more

Good place for sax lessons! 2/2/2011

My son studied clarinet and sax with Peter Spitzer at Hope Street studios for about 6 years. He learned a lot, ended up playing sax in a professional band while in high school and earned a few thousand dollars gigging by the time he graduated. I've met several of the other teachers at Hope Street and heard some of them playing at gigs and they are all competent and friendly.\r \r The studio itself is very clean and pleasant with separate, sound proofed teaching rooms and a nice waiting room. more

Nice Studio, Good Teachers 2/1/2011

I've met several of the other teachers at Hope Street, heard some of them playing at gigs and they are all competent and friendly. They have teachers for trumpet, trombone, piano, guitar, bass and drums - maybe more. The studio itself is very clean and pleasant with separate, sound proofed teaching rooms and a comfortable waiting room. more

  • We offer individual music lessons on most instruments, taught by supportive, highly qualified teachers. Instruments currently offered include guitar, piano, violin, viola, clarinet, saxophone, flute, oboe, trumpet, trombone, baritone horn, tuba, electric bass, drums, and voice. We serve students of all ages and all levels.

    Besides private lessons, we also offer string ensembles and jazz combo classes, by arrangement.  Please phone or email us; we'll suggest the right teacher for you or your child, based on experience, age, and preferred musical style.

    We are located in downtown Mountain View, near the transit center and a short drive from Palo Alto, Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, Cupertino, Sunnyvale, and Santa Clara.
