Great service, friendly mechanic, reasonable price 4/3/2008

I had to have my car towed after if broke down on the roadway. I only waited about 10 minutes, a good thing since I was stuck in the middle of the road, and Hoovers showed up. They towed my car to the shop, and the mechanic, Russ, diagnosed and fixed the problem (the alternator) and had me on my way again in less than 2 hours. They were prompt, very friendly, charged a reasonable price, and explained everything to me, giving me a written estimate. I would definately use their services again. BAD BAD BAD PLACE FOR TOWING AND AUTO REPAIR- VERY BAD 1/31/2008

I would never bring my car here again, after i found out that the mech (russ) could not fix it, they towed it to a place that could and then they bill hoover's for the repair and bill ME double for what it cost them to get it fixed!!!! that is not right!!! Got the run-around 1/16/2008

Hoover picked up my daughter's car when it would not start, tested the battery which was bad, and replaced it with a new one. No complaints on that. However, the charges were highly inflated (about $100 over typical prices). I called (8 times) to discuss, never got through to the owner, he never returned my calls. One mechanic was friendly, took my messages. One mechanic was quite rude. I was hoping for a trustworthy mechanic shop that my daughter could use regularly. After this experience, this is not the one. more
