I found this guy Greg Bowman on Craigslist and he seemed nice enough in the beginning, but dont be fooled. He is a liar and a cheat. He took 3x longer than planned to do the job as he hardly ever showed up to work on it for some unknown reason. He would say he's going to do something but not do it and then when you ask him about it, he has an excuse and promised again to do it but still doesnt. Then he tried to charge me double. He made a mess of everything, did low quality work, was not reachable of course when I wanted it corrected and several things that were included were not done at all! Even my neighbors were appalled at the delays and mess he left in the yard. I could not get him back over to finish the job as he ignored all my calls after he got his money from me. Totally unreliable and unprofessional. I would strongly advise against hiring this individual. more

On March 23, 2010, Greg Bowman cashed a check for $2,020 for the materials and half the labor on a fence. As of today said fence has yet to be completed. I have provided capital to gather the materials, ensured there was sufficient clearance in the yard as well as electricity for power tools, yet he has failed to finish the job. Over the course of 21 months, I have made 36 phone calls to him to resolve this matter and he will not take my calls. The excuses include that his he was sick then his wife and truck was having repairs. He admits that he spent my money on the engine for his truck. more

Do not hire tis business to do any work for you. Also, do not make any payments to him or you will never see him again. His workmanship is very poor and in my case, after he was paid in full, the job was never completed. He promised on two occasions he would return to complete the job but I havent seen him since! He is licened in Richmond county but is not licensed in Columbia county. Do not trust this individual or you will regret it. more
