Southern Hospitality!! 8/25/2004

We had a great dinner just before "Charlie" visited. The staff was attentive and the ambience outstanding. The patio was "old Charleston" and the food "Southern Comfort". Banana and pumpkin bread good. Biscuits and gravy bland. Bottom layer of buttermilk pie had funny after taste. Bread and pie expensive. 2 slices of bread = $3. Pros: Inexpensive, Good parking Cons: , Some items expensive more

My wife and I are former residents of Charleston and The Hominy Grill is the best in town. Best bisquits and Sweet Tea in the Low Country, and the Shrimp and Grits are best in the South. Pros: Bisquits, Sweet Tea, Shrimp and Grits Cons: Small, Long Wait on some day more
