need a new evening carver 2/23/2008

me and my family have eaten here on different occasions and have had the same encounter with a certain carver....he is very unfriendly and don't you dare ask him a question...we have all, at some time in our lives, had an encounter with someone who is indifferent. This creates what I have learned to be the ""dread factor."" Do you really want to give your hard earned money to someone that creates that un-needed annoyance in your day? I don't mean to attack.....just merely suggesting some attitude training. Pros: it's buffett - all you can eat Cons: bathrooms need remodeling more

In the south there is a place called The Golden Corral (my favorite place to eat) and I have never been able to find anything close to it untill now. Old Counrty Buffett is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy wonderful food. A great selection. There really needs to be one in Bangor Maine. I know a lot of people are looking for a restaurant like Old Country Buffett. I hope to see it soon here in the Bangoe area. more

An even better Buffet. 10/28/2002

This one is better than the one I previously reviewed (on Washington st), for just two reasons: There is a lot more parking and room in the restaurant itself. Otherwise everything's the same--AWESOME food and service, at a decent price--especially lunchtime is a great dollar value. BAD--In both these places I wish that mascot ""Old Country Bee"" wouldn't bother hungry adults. Pros: Lots of parking, Great food, Excellent seating Cons: Overly busy nights, OCB "Bee", Dinner a little XX $$ more
