My pup died 3/18/2019

I bought a blue tea cup Chihuahua and when he was a puppy he was losing hair on his head and back. I took him to different vets and couldn't find why he was losing his hair but then 4 years later he passes away. It was so traumatizing because he was my lil man my best bud. I did so much for him to find out why his head began swelling up and he would cry all the time because he was in so much pain. My vet at 1st thought maybe it was a ear infection but after the medicine didn't help him he still cried and cried. It broke my heart because I didn't know what else I can do to help him but then that horrible day came and I found him on the couch stiff as a board. After further investigation we found he had hydosphilis which is a disease that is passed on from the mother or father. Its fluid that begins to fill up around the brain causing pressure and horrible pain for the pup. If a dog has this disease you are not suppose to breed them it is against the law to due so. I wish things could have been different because I was so close to my lil guy and miss him so much every day. I just cant believe they would breed dogs with this disease. It's not right and inhumane. more

I had a great experience with Melissa. I brought my pup from there almost a year ago. He is great and I wouldn't trade him for the world. Anytime I had any issues or concerns Melissa and her husband were a great help. Also saved a ton on vaccinations using their vet. Would highly recommend buying your pup from here. more

They are no good bad people dirty dogs they are not a reader they never give papers for the dog you. Inutile selling a dog that is blind a vet that doesn't check dogs out right don't buy from them more

Buyers Beware 7/20/2017

I bought a shih tzu puppy from Melissa and Chris Peck from Home Raised Puppy.157 New Britian Rd on May 2017. I found out in 30 Days from my Vet that from birth there was trauma and stress due to delivery he became Blinded in one eye. I mention it too them they do not CARE about the dogs that they have. Plus they have a terrible Vet checking them out . The paper that they give you said he fine . WRONG. Plus they don't give you any paper work on the dog or a bill of sale ??? they are not a reputable breeder.dont buy any dog there.They should be shut down and ashamed of themselves more

These people are running a decent bus and i don't get the junk that is written but then again who knows who they are! It just doesn't seem right. Our exp. has been just great and no it is not a fancy place more like a home but it is better they take good care of the pups, and they sure do. more

WTF you think there is validity to these comments.. come on peps any wack job can write any sh** they want. Do you blame the owner for taking one dog out at a time, look at the nut cases they are dealing with. The computer is an abusive instrument to tarnish anyone. Just look at the slosh! The pups are fine it is the morans who need help. I have to add we have a puppy from HRP and are happy. Believe what you want. more

WORMS! GIARDIA! MANGE! 4/25/2011

I purchased a puppy from here back in October, When I got him home he didnt act like a puppy at all just laid around all the time had no energy and wouldn't eat. I brought him to their vet at the store as they recommended they gave me some de-wormer and after using that for few days LIVE worms were pouring out of my poor puppy so I took him to my own vet along with the medicine. I was told what their vet gave me was garbage. Not only was he heavily infested worms he also had giardia parasites! Now that all that has cleared... He has demodectic mange, something I will have to treat for months with no guarantee that it will ever clear. I understand it is normal for puppies to have worms... But for it to be that bad and have all this? This is not normal! I am VERY DISAPPOINTED more

Ok so everyone has their own opinions. My dog is now 3 and 4 in nov. he is an awesome dog. i believe his breeder was from colorado. They have someone there with the dogs basically 24hrs. They are also on call all the time to fit your schedual. i went in one day to look and fell in love with "ace" old engish bulldog. he never had anything wrong with him at all.. i mean nothing.. he is a loving dog that listens verywell.. soemtimes people blaim the place they got their dog instead of owning up to there issues... dogs can have somany problems not because of the breeeders but bc of the breed of dogs. I tell every one about them.. it maybe a mill but whats the difference if you buy a rescue dog that you have no idea their temperment or background. then to buy a puppy from here..and raise it from the start and have a connection as well as your kids having a connection from a dog with papers that states where they came form thier first vaccines and who thier parents are... more
