Jim Krueger (owner of Home Escapes), wrote me an estimate in which he was unable to complete. Had to take this guy to court and won, he was found to be in breech of contract. The quality of work completed by Jim is horrible. I dont know how Jim can sleep at night. \r \r Take my advice and avoid dealing with this guy, you'll have major headaches. more

Be warned!!!! He has horrible reviews online. He did the worst job for us that we are still looking at today! He keeps getting my reviews taken off. the review where someone tripled the size of their house is obviously a bold faced lie and one review if not both others are Jim!!!! terrible contracter with a terrible work ethic....why is citysearch allowing this guy to keep deleting these bad reviews!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! more

Brilliant Job 4/3/2011

Home Escapes did a brilliant job on my home renovation, turning a 900 sq ft ranch into a 2200 sg ft palace w/ a 650 sq ft great room w/ a 15 ft cathedral ceiling. Design plans were challenging, but Home Escapes was up to the task. Great crew... on time and on budget. I'd use them again in a heart beat. more

Do NOT Do Business With.... Bad Contractor 7/4/2009

Jim enetered into a contract and wasn't able to perform as stated within the contract. I was very unhappy with the quality of work that was completed. When I confronted Jim with the situation he told me to pay the additional expense even though the contract clearly stated he would complete the job as I desired.... instead he wanted to do his own thing cut-corners so that he could make more money (provided me with crappy work that I paid through the nose for). If you select Jim for your project I can put money on it that you wont be happy. Pros: None Cons: Jim Didn't stand behind his contract...Very Unhappy Customer more
