I got to Home Depot around 10:30am to walk around a bit and see if workers were actually working today. I walked around store for 1.5 hours and never had a HD associate approach me or ask if I was looking for anything particular. I finally got a 'Hi, howya doing' when i was beginning to exit building. His name was ED and was very friendly. I explained I was walking around for over 1.5 hrs and never got any help. I was not really looking for anything but it would have been nice. I travel all over TX and visit HD stores on a regular basis because I'm a truck driver and deliver to many stores around TX and try and update the reviews of these stores, not only as a customer spending money at the stores but also as a customer delivering my goods to the store. The Receiving dept was less than friendly at all. I was delivering 1 pallet of custom masonite doors and with no other deliveries in front of me, plenty of room to unload my merchandise into the receiving warehouse, it has been almost 3 hours and im still waiting. Not sure on policies of HD for bringing in merchandise whenever possible to get out to the public but the receiving policies need to be audited to become more efficient for all.
