We wanted to remove the carpeting in our two upstairs attic bedrooms and install laminate. Other flooring professionals told us the subfloor was too rocky and it couldn't be done, but Joel and the guys at Home Carpet One helped us come up with a solution: Flexible premium vinyl flooring that looked just like beautiful wood. Their flooring installers did an amazing job too. Those rooms are now our favorite rooms in the house! When we're ready to do more flooring work these guys will definitely get my return business.\r more

The tile arrived on time and as described and when we came up a little short on one of our installations (due to our own bad measurements) they found the material we needed and got it to us in a couple of days at a minimal cost. Their carpet installers were great as well. We needed some unexpected extra prep work done and, once again, they did a great job at a minimal cost. Some companies would have taken advantage of the situation to charge some big extra fees but not these guys. \r \r We did a lot of research for our project. We looked online and at the Mart and when you combine selection, service, and price there is no doubt Home Carpet One is the way to go for carpet and tile. They really delivered .""\r more

We had a great experience with Home Carpet One and we love our new carpet. After water damage in our basement we called right away to have Home Carpet One replace the carpet. We scheduled the measure right away and he came on time and was very quick and efficient. When we were ready to install the scheduling, again, was incredibly easy and we were able to have the come out the next week. Unfortunately, my husband didn't like the carpet once they brought it out, but Kate was very understanding and helped us choose another style we were happy with. The installers were very nice and did a great job, too. They are subcontracted but I still applaud Home Carpet One for working with a very professional installation group. The install was during the ""polar vortex"" in Chicago so I felt VERY bad for them having to go in and out of the house with the carpet, etc. Our new carpet has been in for several weeks now and we couldn't be happier. DEFINITELY recommend them.\r more

Excellent Customer Service 1/3/2012

In November, 2011, I had new carpet and wood floors installed. I had a difficult time making the decision as to how far to extend the wood, what products to use, etc. Part of the difficulty was due to a recent lung infection caused by some cleaning fluid used during my remodeling. Because I was extremely concerned about fumes, etc., Home Carpet One was extremely patient and helpful in making my decisions. They called me several times during the process just to check in. I ended up with beautiful carpeting and wood flooring. All installers did a great job and were very nice. I strongly recommend Home Carpet One for not only their extensive and excellent products, but for their installers and their customer service. Pros: null Cons: null more

Excellent and Prompt service 11/15/2010

As a business owner it is sometimes hard to find other companies that share my expectation for a high level of customer service. Home Carpet One lives up to my expectations. Most recently I had a customer that unfortunatly we stained their carpeting. I called Home Carpet One and not only were they very reasonably priced but they got out there quickly and had the reapir done fast. I will continue to use them in every aspect of my business. more

The assistance and patience I received while shopping at the store was matched by the flexibility on installation dates and quality of installation service. The installers were courteous, respectful, professional and conscientious, even vaccuuming not only my condo but the public hallway upon completion of their installation. Great experience all the way around and would recommend this company to all. more

Beautiful Carpeting with Excellent Service 5/28/2010

From the hours spent choosing the carpeting for almost every room in our new home in Deerfield, to scheduling the installation to the installation itself, the service at this business is pure pleasure. We had one-on-one attention from someone who "got" our taste and knew exactly what to show us at the showroom. Ben, who scheduled installation, returned calls immediately and was extremely flexible in scheduling. The installers did a beautiful job and even made great suggestions both aesthetically and in terms of when to carpet each room since we were under construction. Excellent Prices and Service 1/5/2010

I recently completed carpeting my house and remodeling my master bathroom. Home Carpet One supplied the carpet and tile for both projects. The service level was outstanding and I was very pleased that Home Carpet One allowed me to return excess tile for a full refund. A solid experience 11/12/2009

Home Carpet One provided common area carpeting for our 12 unit condominium building. HC1 was always on time, provided several options each with a detailed quote, was respectful of the decision making process and offered the best price all in a transparent manner. I wish every one of our service providers were this easy and reliable to deal with and provided such good value. Its also great when dealing directly with the President of the company. Pros: Reliable, responsive, friendly, and good pricing Cons: None that I can think of more

Top Notch 5/8/2009

I can't say enough about working with Mark Gusti and the team at Home Carper One. I was ordering new slate flooring long distance from Baghdad, and the HC1 crew could not have been anymore accomodating. Oscar and hisd crew did one beautiful job of installing the floor and cleaned up the place like it belonged to them. I would gladly recommend their services and products any time.
