Very good service 8/3/2011

I needed a leather watch band repaired. It had been glued from the factory and had come apart. I took it into Holt Shoe and Leather, and even though he could have taken the easy way out and re-glued it, instead he sewed it together.....which was the best approach in my opinion. It took less than 10 minutes and he charged me $0 (nothing). I was impressed with his professionalism, friendliness and the work he performed. I will definitely return in the future if the need arises. more

Great leather repair 6/27/2011

unable to do the most basic repair well 8/7/2009

Dropped off 2 pairs of high heeled shoes because the heel nail was beginning to wear through. Was told I would receive a call when complete within 1 week. Two weeks went by, I called and was told they were ready. The heels they put on were not even shaped the same as the heel, so it looked like they stuck a black Lego on a ""D"" shaped heel. They didn't buff the shoes. Within one week of the repair, the right heel is loose and falling off causing me to stumble. AVOID THIS PLACE! Cons: Terrible repair, terrible service--do they hire ex-cons? more

Don't take your favorite purse here! 3/12/2008

Wow. This was the single worst repair experience I have ever had. The owner put a wide and uneven seam (about 1/4 inch off-center) in the front of my purse during a basic repair. He ruined an expensive bag and mocked me when I asked him what he would/could do to fix it. In fairness, he did refund me the $5.00 for the ""repair."" He's cheap, but I won't be back. Ever. Pros: Cheap Cons: Quality of work, customer service, attitude more
