Giants Gym is laid-back and the staff are friendly and helpful. What I like best is that it is never so crowded that I have to wait for long periods of time to use the equipment that I prefer. This is true even after 5 pm during weekdays. Their personal trainer Jung is very dedicated and enthusiastic. I like that my membership supports a local business. Pros: space, parking, supporting local business Cons: sometimes equipment is dusty more

Fantastic facility. Very helpful staff. Great casual atmosphere without the meatmarket vibe. Don't let the outside facade fool you; there's tons of room inside. Pros: very relaxing atmosphere more

Great local gym 3/11/2008

I like my neighborhood gym. The staff are very friendly & helpful.The atmosphere is low key--you won't see any gym freaks here. And you don't have to ""dress up"" to go to the gym. There are lots of colorful tattoos and super nice local folks. I do wish the gym would get a few new peices of cardio & weight equipment. Otherwise I recommend Giants to everyone, all shapes & sizes & levels of fitness! Pros: rarely crowded, always open Cons: needs more ventilation/A.C. & some new equipment more

Great low key gym 3/11/2008

I have been a member of Giant's Gym for over a year and I am very satisfied with it. The staff members keep the machines clean and in good working condition, it's quieter than other gyms I've been to, the music is pleasant, free parking is provided, it's affordable, and it's open 24/7!!! I have improved my work out with individualized instruction from Yung, a trainer at Giant's Gym, and that has helped me get better results than I was getting before. more

great neighborhood gym with fantastic customer service 3/5/2008

I highly recommend Giants Gym. The gym has all the equipment you need to get into great shape. The trainers there are fantastic and will work with you to help you achieve your fitness goals. The members are friendly and the atmosphere is terrific; this is no meat market! You can socialize with others or do your own thing while listening to your ipod. This is one local business you can enthusiastically support. Stop in and check it out! Pros: equipment, atmosphere, extremely clean, great customer service Cons: none! more

Great Staff and lots of help! Thank You! 1/1/2008

I was so frustrated with the big clubs that I had almost given up. The staff at Giants Gym sat down with me and reviewed my fitness history and goals before I joined. Then they tested me, and put me on the Active Trax system. It is so easy! Every time I go to the gym a new workout is waiting for me. I have finally gotten the results I wanted and it didn""t cost me an arm and a leg. The place is clean and super casual. No meat market feel either. I am on my 8th straight month of consistent workouts because of the staff and program at Giants Gym. Pros: Clean, great support, not crowded more

What's NOT to like.... affordable, accessable, clean, plentiful parking, 24 hour access, no crowds, no attitude, and personalized service! Finally, An Honest Gym that actually helps without paying Extra! 10/22/2007

So all I was looking for was a gym to get in shape. I was ready to pay for a personal trainer but the guy at the gym said that their program would INCLUDE a personal training program with free consults and follow up! I used to go to 24 hour fitness but this is way more help for the money. By the way, it's the cleanest gym I've been to as well. Pros: Helpful staff, friendly atmosphere, not crowded. more

Do not join this gym 10/17/2007

The people who work at this gym will say anything to get you to join and then they won't let you cancel. The representatives of this club lied to me about the terms of my membership, and now they are not honoring their words. Furthermore, they have been rude and pushy. The equipment is ill-maintained, most of it is unusable. It has been very. Don't join this gym. more

Great locally owned gym 3/1/2005

Lots of equipment, much bigger than it looks from the street. Open 24 hours, lots of free weights and machines. Friendly staff and training is available. Pros: Friendly Staff, Good Price, Open 24 hours Cons: No spandex, No crowds, No Waiting more

MORE GYM LESS MONEY!!! It's plain, yet COMFORTABLE. It's totally AFFORDABLE for the average person, being over $150.00 cheaper in signup fees alone than some chains, because you not paying for bling. You get assistance, smiles, and encouragement from the patrons, as well as from the staff who always take the time to help, or offer suggestions. You NEVER feel like your being judged, or evaluated. They are OPEN 24hrs a day, so you can work-out according to your schedule. Never over crowed. For myself, I've made more gains in the 5 months I've been there then ever before. I can't stop singing the praises of giants gym. Pros: 24HRS,, Affordable,, Great Variety more

I finally found a gym that has all of the equipment I need without huge crowds and intimidating members. The staff was very helpful with new programs and ideas and I'm making progress like never before. Forget the chains if you want a quality workout at a great price. Oh yeah, they're open round the clock too. Pros: Not crowded, Low prices, Great atmosphere more
