Holiday stiffs it customers 6/27/2011

I made a reservation with this hotel over seven days in advance. When I went to cancel it within 48 hours after making the reservation, they said I could have cancelled within 24 hours but couldn't now since it was past 24 hours. However, I could reschedule for another date for an additional $50. Now I'm stuck with a reservation that I can't use any longer. Marriott and other chains don't do this to their customers. That is not customer service! I won't stay at another Holiday Inn any longer! more

I stayed at the Holiday Inn, and I have to say, it was a very pleasant experience. At check in, the clerk made my family and I feel like we were at home. The restaurant was excellent ( I suggest try the ribs!), and the rooms were great. All in all, it was a great stay Pros: friendly staff, great location Cons: need a bigger gym, wish pool was indoors more
