with no call in advance,just a walk in i dropped my rock crawler and 3 batteries off on a saterday for them to install traxxas connecters,and they were slamed with coustermers.they took me right in and was done with it before i made it to the mall............i was so impressed by the speed and quality of their work i am hooked i cant wait to see how good they do when i buy the losi dessert truck from them its normal price is 399.00 they have it rtr for 225.00 great deal....stop by and chek them out you will be impressed to... more

I had bought a piece of equipment from a Train Show ,and it did not have instructions. I went to Hobby World ,and asked them if they had instructions on this type of unit, where upon they removed a set of instructions from a File that they had on hand , made a copy of them for me ,of which I was really grateful for , in that the instructions allowed me to learn how to set up the item and how to run it without any difficulties . These folks are " GREAT " !!!!! They always help me when ever I require assistance . more

great place for the R/C enthusiast. I got my first R/C helicopter here and crasked it the same day! The staf had me up and running in no time. Great selection of any hobby you can imagine! more

fantastic for the model builder 11/2/2005

My husband and son can spend literally all day at this store and still not want to leave. It brings out the little boy in my hubby and he needs to be reminded of his spending limits. selection is fantastic and the staff knows EVERYTHING. if they don't have it, they will get it for you somehow. more

Trains, planes and balsa wood... 9/19/2005

We've frequented this shop many times over the years. (I've got a lifetime Boy Scout at my home) The shop is filled to the brim and generally bustling on Saturday mornings. The staff is happy to help IF you can get their attention. The prices aren't too bad. Model builders will be happy as will be train collectors. The parking is good once you've dealt with the notorious Blanding Blvd. traffic. They've been in business for years and years and if you can't find it in the store, they know where to get it. more
