Lots to look at 11/3/2005

There is a ton to look at, at this Hobby Lobby location. The staff is friendly. The displays are well put together. It is clean. It seems that they are much higher on much of their product line, then say Target or Ben Franklin, but there also have a much bigger selection. A toss up. more

This is the ultimate craft store. They have everything from fabric to silk florals to candles and furniture. Plan on spending some time in this store because there is so much to look at. They are always running something good on sale. The staff is nice and the prices are good. But most of all, the selection is great. more

I love Hobby Lobby 9/27/2005

I had been to a Hobby Lobby in Texas, and was so excited that they opened one in St. Louis. Every week they have specials on certain items, and they are really reasonable. This is by far the best craft store around with the biggest selection. The only downfall is that they are not open on Sundays, but other than that the store is wonderful. more

If you are a crafter this is the store for you. They have a good selection of flowers, fabrics, nik naks and lots and lots of fun stuff. Seasonal items are available and the staff is knowledgeable and helpful. Makes decorating fun and inexpensive. more

Dream land. 9/6/2005

I love, love LOVE Hobby Lobby. When I lived in Denver there were several locations and I was disappointed to see there weren't any when I moved to Saint Louis. I was overjoyed when they started building one! I am a homeschooler and can often find everything I need, both for my own crafts and the kids activities. I've also found myself gift shopping there as well. My only complaint is that items are hand rung, which means that when items are on sale you have to trust that the cashier knows which items, and for how much. I find myself checking and double checking as the checker works. Often they miss a sale item. Thus, the cash register receipt is just a bunch of numbers with no real identifying info, making it difficult to make sure you got your items at the correct price. more

Hobby Lobby is a large craft, hobby, decor, and special interests store that carries a large assortment of items assembled or to be assembled. They have a large photo section where you can bring in your item to be fitted for a matte and frame of your liking. They also carry any type of craft item you can think of from paint and templates to siccors and craft glue. They have ads that offer their specials and discounts or you can check each week for their newly arrived items and older items going on sale. more
