Visit to Dr. Hinchey 2/2/2012

I had a very nice visit. I really appreciated how much time Dr. Hinchey took with me and also that the exam wasn't just about my teeth (checked lips, tongue, gums, etc.). Very thorough. That has not been my experience at most other dental practices lately. Also, I thought the hygienist was very friendly and did a great job. My teeth felt and looked so much better after leaving, and as someone with sensitivity, it's great to have someone who can be gentle yet thorough. All in all a great experience. My only suggestions are to make sure there is someone at the front desk when patients arrive and to make sure the front door closes fully because it was chilly in the waiting room. more

Replacing broken tooth 1/31/2012

I was a little concerned when I was told that my tooth would be made in the office instead of a lab. But not only was it made to perfection. It mached the rest of my teeth in color and shape as if they were all made at the same time! It was also much fun to see how it was done.And the best part was that I went in with a broken tooth and walked out with a new one all in one sitting! Great Job! Now I can smile again!! more

Long Time Experience with Dr. Hinchey. 1/28/2012

My wife and I have been patients of Dr. Hinchey for many years and have never considered having our dental work performed anywhere else. He and his staff always give high quality care in a very professional manner in a relaxed and attentive setting. My experience this week is a good example. A piece of tooth that had previously been filled had chipped away. Dr. Hinchey, using computer technology, fashioned a repair that resulted in a repaired tooth that looks like a crown, not a filling. And I didn't feel a thing! Very impressive procedure. Great practice. George Sloan more

Excellent service 1/18/2012

I had a problem with a cap, which was rather distressing. Dr. Hinchey was able to fix the cap in one visit, taking the conservative route, which I completely appreciated. It was a smooth visit, no pain, plenty of time spent on reviewing and assessing the situation, and fixing the cap in the most cost-effective, yet safest route and likely the best route for this issue. Highly recommended! more

Cleaning 12/22/2011

Different hygenist from prior visits. Very nice but not quite as thorough. Felt a little like cleaning was rushed. I was the last patient of the night, could have been rushing or could be her normal routine. I very well could have been spoiled by the prior hygenist! I also always recall the machine that measures pocket depth and talks. That was not used and when I questioned why I was told it is not used all the time. Again, I could have been totally spoiled in past but just felt different this time. more

Steve always puts me back together again...no matter what happens with my teeth, he always makes room to get me in and fixed up...he gets me smiling again and comfortable and gives me appointments that are accomodating for my crazy work schedule...he goes way out of his way for his patients!! He's awesome!! I keep telling him he can never retire...poor guy!! :) more
