HIMCO 's Great Work 11/21/2011

Himco was very professional, courteous and clean. They installed three different gates/fences around my apartment building without problem or surprises. They installed the first fence over one year ago and it looks as good as the fence they placed last month. These products hold up great! Would recommend HIMCO to all! more

Great Work, Great Service 11/21/2011

I had a gate and fence done by himco at least 5 years ago. I just had them put a vinyl fence in front of my house again. Their price and service is honest and fair. I've used them several times. I've referred them to my friends at work. I've read the other reviews and I'm amazed at what others write. What are these people thinking? more

RIP OFF! They are thieves!!! 11/23/2010

They installed my gate 10 years ago and it was fine. The motor started to act up, I called Himco to come and fix it and was warned about the $129 fee to come out that would be applied to the job.The guy who came out took a look at the motor, said they didn't sell them anymore and couldn't fix it, that I had to buy a new one for $1,800. I told him I was gonna think about it and had to pay the $130 even if he didn't touch it and knew before coming out what model I had.Another company came out and fixed it in 30 minutes.Himco robbed me of $130!!! I call them to ask for my money back since the motor could indeed be fixed, and they said ""sorry"". Sorry???!!! They are thieves! more

Happy ever after 10/2/2009

I had HIMCO install our front entry gate on a difficult installation that other companies wanted a lot more to work on. Everything was done as promised and worked perfectly. About 1 1/2 years later the bulb burned out in the exterior keypad and they came out and did not charge. When I needed service (on my fifth year) they came out and repaired it the next day. I am very happy and have referred them to two friends who have also been very happy with them. Pros: Excellent service more

Worst Customer Service 5/20/2008

We used HimCo Security and they did not install the gates correctly nor in the time they said they would have it done. It took a whole month longer than expected. They also tried to charge us for the time they used to fix the mistakes their technicians made. The gate holes for intercoms were cut wrong and they simply welded the intercom over hole. They have terrible customer service and do not reply to your messages. Their are many other gate specialists in Los Angeles, anyone of them would be a better choice. Pros: Good Sales Pitch Cons: Bad Service, Bad Technicians, Terrible Craftsmanship and Overcharge! more
