We've eaten at many Indian restaurants, but have never had any Nepali food, which tastes similar, but not identical to what the Indian dishes. With that in mind, we chose mostly Nepali options: The vegetable Momos were delicious and unusual -- somewhat similar to Chinese steamed vegetarian dumplings, but with a filling and a sauce with a strong flavor of cumin. The Bhanta Bharta (cubed eggplant with peppers and other vegetables in a spicy sauce) was also excellent and quite different from any eggplant dish I've had in the past. The other dishes were a fish special and ""vegetable bolls in a sauce"" (which was very much like a vegetarian chicken tikka masala), were also delicious, but they were much more ""Indian"" in flavor and therefore very familiar. The service was helpful and friendly. There were 3 of us, and with drinks and tip, the bill came to about $70. It's well worth the drive to West Roxbury. Highly recommended
Pros: Delicious, unusual food
