Good alternative to USF 8/7/2005

If you're not quite sure about your major or want to try to save costs, Hillsborough community college can be a good alternative. Most of the credit hours taken at the lower level will count and transfer to a state university, and the costs will be substantially less expensive! I would strongly recommend talking to the university you are interested in to find out which upper level courses will transfer if you decide on a certain major. Better to do your planning ahead when it comes to degree programs! more

Typical Community College 8/5/2005

My wife completed her associates degree here, and attended multiple campuses: Dale Mabry, Ybor City, and Brandon. It was in all ways a typical commuter community college: more like a 13th grade than an Ivy League school, with average to slightly below average instructors. The price however is a bargain, and like most schools the value to you is largely dependent on what you put in to your studies. more
