The most horrible service you can imagine. They cost me thousands because they forgot to submit claims. You can't get anyone on the phone, and then they blame each other. A year ...

I've had experiences with both handling my claim .. 2/14/2012

I've had experiences with both handling my claim with my insurance agency direct and with a different public adjuster.  Handling the claim direct was ok but I will never know if I would have gotten more money if I had help.  My insurance agency is also known as 'sneaky' and did everything they could to get out of paying me.  The other company I used for another claim was ok. I got scolded for being home during inspection and I did not get enough to fix the damage.  A trusted friend gave me Hillis' info and after calling them on a Friday afternoon, they were at my house the next day (Saturday) at 8am, and took care of me very well with every phone call and everyone who came out to see the damage.  Not only did I get all the money I needed to fix the damage, I got it FAST!   I will always use Hillis! more

Highly recommended!!! 1/5/2012

I had a fire and hired Hillis to help me with my insurance claim. They were awesome! The staff is very friendly and helpful. My adjuster was very knowledgeable and because of his expertise I ended up getting a lot of money. They handled everything for me which was great because I would never have been able to do all that they did. My home and my life is back together now, thanks to the them. I highly recommend Hillis . more

GREAT SERVICE FOR YEARS 11/14/2011

I have used Hillis Adjustment agency for years at least four times and the service was great. a friend recommended them after she had water damage. Once i call them i don't worry about the problem any more.Pat Hillis is the best very pleasant and friendly and now has become my phone friend. I have a claim in now for damage from hurricane irene. and again their service is great! more

Wind Damage Claim 6/28/2011

Mr. McDonnell and Mrs. Martin were so accommodating, friendly, and knowledgeable. They helped make sense of a situation I found very confusing. I would and have recommended Hillis to my family in the Southamton, PA area. The Settlement we received will help pay for materials and labor. more

Excellent Service - More than Satisfied 3/15/2011

The Hillis Adjustment Agency was my knight in shining armor. I met Frank Sisto's wife, Lisa, while shopping at Trader Joe's and we exchanged phone numbers. Little did I know that I would need to call her husband Frank, a Public Adjuster, two weeks later (the meeting between Lisa and myself was God ordained). I called Frank Sisto of Hillis, due to severe damage because of a windstorm and Hillis arrived "that day". They secured my roof to prevent further damage (roof was destroyed which caused damage to my Prayer Room) and contacted my insurance company. They are like expert lawyers FOR homeowners who have had damage to their property. I met Chap, who was very compassionate and understanding of my needs. Everyone at Hillis and anyone associated with Hillis works FOR the homeowner. They negotiated "FOR" me, and they work with contractors who are perfectionists, some of the best contractors on earth (Bruno and Steve). When they finished the work, the room looked like it belonged in Heaven. Thank God for Hillis!!!!! more

Persistance Prevails 2/10/2011

We decidedly made the right decision by engaging Hillis Public Adjustors to represent our interests with a house fire claim. The company was thorough in their inspection of our property and the damages we incurred, diligent in pursuing rightful restitution from our insurance carrier, and empathetic to our situation and emotional state of mind. There is no doubt that the insurance carrier would have sent us a nominal disbursement and walked away from their responsibilities without the assistance of Hillis. The staff are personable, determined, subject matter experts; implementing timely communication to the clients they serve (claim status updates)is the only visible area where improvement is needed. We had to make multiple inquiries throughout this year-long process to obtain information on what was occurring in the process. That being said, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Hillis Public Adjustors to friends, neighbors, and family - they did a terrific job for us and we're thrilled with the final outcome. more

Home Inspection 2/3/2011

Mike Ragusa and John were prompt,pleasant, professional, patient and very knowledgeable. Both were very exacting during the inspection and answered all of my questions, to my understanding and satisfaction. They explained everything, except this survey, but that's ok. :-) Thank you. more

Hillis did a great job for me after the hurricane that struck s 1/21/2011

Hillis did a great job for me after the hurricane that struck s. fl in 2005. Wilma. My problem with Hillis is that I was told that if I refered them to new clients then I would recieve a lead generation fee. Well... I did and I called Hillis many times to see where my fees where and I was told that it was being processed. I know one of my referrals was helped by Hillis and he then referred people in our same neighborhood and he was paid but not me. How does this happen? Why did noone return my calls and follow up with me as I was diligently refering new clients to Hillis? Bad way to do business. more

Hillis was not only extremely responsive to our situation, they worked well with our insurance company. They were professional, not adversarial. They negotiated a far better settlement than we would have received and they encouraged us to take some extra steps which helped us recover costs of some personal items which we thought would be write-offs. more

I feel that from Don, Jordan and the support staff I was educated, handled tenderly even when I was "nerve wracked" (sp) This was a learning experience and yet handled w/ great professionalism by all at Hillis. My insurance co. treated me rotten and they would have gotten away w/it if it Hillis was not there to protect me. Ty ty ty! more

We have used Hillis Adjustment Company on several issues over the years. We had a major flood in our shore house caused by a slow leak in a toilet. The leak was unattended for just 2 weeks and it caused major damage close to 6 figures. We had 2 other occasions to use Hillis within the past 15 years and they have always helped us to reach a middleground with the insurance company adjusters. They are extremely thorough and professional and have perseverance to never give up. more

Commercial Property Loss 9/10/2009

As you are aware our apartment complex had a devastating fire. Your agency knew exactly what to do and what steps needed to be taken. You and your staff managed the claim with professionalism and compassion. The settlement you received from my insurance company was significantly more than I ever expected to receive. I would like to add my compliments for the way in which my whole problem was handled. In the aftermath of the Wilma Hurricane when I felt as I was in total shock and trying to cope alone, your friendly staff arrived with help, advice and so appropriately support, humor and a sense of calm. Each time I have either contacted your office or met with your colleagues and yourself, I have received immediate, courteous, professional help. It was a huge burden taken from my shoulders in the wake of that dreadful hurricane experience you were the light in the tunnel and I thank you for that as well as your insurance mediation success.
