When I was confronted with a somewhat surprising divorce action, Chris was there for me. In my case, he was truly acting as a friend, one who listened with a caring ear - however it was also the ear of a highly practiced and competent lawyer! He clearly saw what I simply couldn't see at the time - that my spouse was planning to take serious advantage of me. As both my Friend and Attorney, Chris stood up for me and protected me in my troubled times, and I thank him for his advocacy and friendship. more

Despite the unfortunate situation I found myself in, Chris Hildebrand @ Hildebrand Law helped me maneuver every step with professionalism, expertise, and even a sensitivity that was an added bonus. Chris and his staff helped me even when I didn't know I needed the help. In other words. . . they made sure we did not leave anything undone. And in the rare instance we needed the expertise of another professional, Chris knew exactly who to recommend. Chris also knew, because of his experience, what to anticipate down the road of litigation. That meant we were better prepared to meet the challenges head on, which lead to a more equitable and fair outcome. I appreciated that Chris did his best to meet my every need in a timely fashion, even if I had a simple question that required only a phone call or e-mail or if we needed to talk face-to-face. Over all he did a great job with my case, and continues to do so given that my ex continues to be a problem. She had accusations, we had facts, and we won in court. I think the best thing that he did was help control what we needed to do versus what we could do. Mine is a very, very, very bad case, with a lot of lies, a lot of deceit, and an opposing counsel who didn't know or care that his client was lying through her teeth. Which means that emotionally I was a wreck and wanted things finished and brought to light super speed, and that unfortunately is simply not how it works. So he was very good at telling me what I needed to hear, not necessarily what I wanted to hear. It was frustrating, but in the end he was right, and it helped us show the court the truth of the matter. more

I was extremely thankful to have Mr. Micuda as my divorce attorney. His expertise is evident and my divorce was finalized with all I was hoping to achieve. He is not just a great attorney, but a caring and compassionate individual. I cannot express enough how thankful I am that I found Hildrebrand Law. Chris Hildebrand is an excellent attorney who has my best interests in mind and always encourages me to do the right thing regardless of what the opposing party is doing. Chris knows family law very well and relies on that knowledge to format options and solutions for each situation that may arise. He knows what the Court expects and what will and will not be tolerated. He has attempted to settle this case quickly and as inexpensively as possible from the start. His paralegal, Laura, is remarkable. She is organized, quick to respond, and compassionate. Chris is well prepared with a binder full of detailed and organized information and that is likely due to her thorough skills and expertise. While getting a divorce that was unexpected is a painful and difficult process, Chris and Laura treat my family and I like friends rather than another just ""client."" I am hopeful that I do not need to recommend divorce lawyers to anyone in the future but if I do, Hildebrand Law will be a recommendation I would give hands down. more

Divorce and child custody is messy, complicated and at times quite ugly. Chris and his staff were amazing and I don't believe I appreciated that enough at the time. Very responsive to phone calls and emails. Always on time for meetings and never missed court deadlines. Brilliant understanding not just of the law, but how it plays out in the courtroom, in front of the judge and in life. Excellent attention to detail and dedication to ferreting out missing pieces. My favorite thing about Chris was reading any document he had prepared. Whether it was a motion for the court, a response to opposing counsel, an email or a memo it was guaranteed to be excellent. He has a way of wording both the simple and complex in a way that compels you to follow along. Clear and concise but at the same time with an understanding of writing for an audience that most lawyers don't understand or possess. more

Over the years I am protected daily still by the divorce that Chris helped me obtain. He always made me feel as though I was the only client he had and that he could take all the time in the world with me to address all my fears and questions until I was satisfied. Chris was simply outstanding! As a senior Army Officer, with a very messy divorce and 3 kids; I needed a smart, yet compassionate attorney. Chris fit that bill perfectly. He took my intent and ran with it, handeling everything during my multiple deployments. He clearly understood what was important to me. He tirelessy researched the Army regulations and tied it into the Arizona law flawlessly. He gave me options and carefully explained the fiscal and potential emotional costs of each course of action, while keeping my ultimate goal in clear focus. He always helped keep me grounded during the entire process. Today, as a direct result of his efforts; my kids and I are very happy and living a normal and happy post divorce life. I used him a second time recently (new issue with the same divorce) with equally fantastic results. I would recommend him to anyone, anytime. more

Working with Chris and his staff was a very comfortable experience from the beginning. Going through a six year, extremely complicated, custody battle was a very emotional and taxing event; however, knowing that I had such a competent attorney on my side put my mind at ease. Chris understood how important my relationship with my daughter is to me and made sure never to lose sight of that throughout the battle. Choosing Chris to represent me and to fight for what was right and important, was one of the best decisions I could have made for myself and my daughter.
