After reading the remarks by nmoore1481 I would be remiss not to respond with a favorable reply of my experience with Highpoint Lawn Service. I have been a customer of Highpoint for 5 seasons and the service has been exemplary throughout that period. I had another large nationwide lawn service, that will go unnamed, which was unable to provide any help or results to my brown, thin, embarrassment of a lawn. From the moment I called them, I found them to be courteous and professional. They were glad to send out a representative to meet with me and walk the lawn. The representative was friendly, knowledgeable and best of all he was not pushy. He listen to my concerns and proceeded to systematically address those concerns and gave me hope that I could have a great looking and healthy lawn. He told me about the programs they offered and gave me advice as to what I need to be doing to benefit the lawn. I was so impressed, that I was motivated to do exactly what he suggested. From soil condition,watering and mowing height along with the Highpoint program I would see positive results with each and every visit. To say the least, that is exactly what happened. Since becoming and Highpoint customer, any concern that I have had is met with friendliness, courteousness, promptness, professionalism and most importantly the results I have come to expect. I have found that their program, along with their advice, yields the best results I have ever had from any lawn company I have dealt with period! am very upset with the 'job' that Highpoint did on our lawn this year. After two years of exemplary service, our lawn was overrun by a fungus this year. By a conservative estimate, we had 100"" brown fungus spots this year. The fungus spots are now overrun with flowering weeds. Highpoint could not prevent or rectify the problem. Our lawn and in my opinion the two adjoining houses who also use Highpoint had the worst looking lawns in the neighborhood -- and we are among the few homeowners who use a lawn service like Highpoint. The other homeowners fertilize themselves with much better results -- and their cost is significantly less than the $70 I paid Highpoint per 'service.' I unfortunately had recommended Highpoint to my neighbors. I will be surprised if they continue the 'service' next year, I have cancelled the service. I would not use or recommend them. Their business model must be predicated on losing and gaining a certain number of customers per year.
