I have found this place, one of the warmest and most inviting places to eat. The beer and beverage selection in wonderful and the staff is warm and very friendly. The menu has things for all tastes, amongst my favorites have been the steak and the fish (tuna and salmon). If your looking for a great place to go, where everyone is welcoming, then this is the place. Pros: Food and drink selection more

Best $ 10 Steak Tuesday Special 3/18/2010

I moved to Kennesaw in September last year and found a new home at Highlands - I met many new friends here. The food is always excellent and the beer is always cold and served with a smile.\r \r Lots of music, entertainment and Specials.\r \r Wait staff is excellent. Bartenders are too.\r These are folks that really care about their clientele and it doesn't matter if you are college age, yuppie, hippie, middle age or an old fogey like me Highlands is a place for everyone.\r \r Oh, by the way, you gotta try those green beans on the side. \r \r Try it, You'll like this place - and you'll come back. \r Pros: Great Friendly Staff - Prices - Fun Cons: 1 more eno screen would be nice on the left side- more

Ignore the old reviews- this is not a taco mac 1/21/2010

fantasticplace to hangout, grab a draft beer and relax afterwork- \r \r they sometimes do randall nights (if you're a beer lover you'll know what that is)\r \r mix of ksu students to 40 somethings- they have a new owner as well -\r \r Their menu is pretty diverse- steaks, seafood, and huge salads- Pros: non smoking inside, affordabe neighborhood spot more

Don't let the name fool you -- this is not Mexican! 4/19/2008

Taco Mac's are basically a big, loud sports bar with many TVs that mainly serves wings and beer. There are only a couple of tex-mex items on the menu and they are mediocre at best. We thought we were going to find some good Mexican food but were very disappointed. We didn't try the wings so can't vouch for them.\r more
